Remember don’t trust the deep dive when it comes to showing his true damage. He may seem underwhelming at first but wait until some people actually test him out

Also his sp3 abilities are insane

All his damage is tied to his *GodBomb* which is a strength but also a weakness

Kudos to Kabam for making his animations and design look wicked as usual. His kit looks unique for a cosmic champ, but I’m nervous that he is going to be outclassed by other cosmic characters or DoT champs.
How could he be out classed by other dot champs ? He has 4 different dots.
@@whoru9717 sunspot has a lot of dot debuffs but they are low, having many dot debuffs doesn’t mean they’ll be good
@@whoru9717 his dot looks more for utility than damage, like Clare Voyant. I do think his dot would be outclassed, but I don’t think that’s his selling point anyways, so it probably won’t matter too much, just like with Clare.

How a 10 K PI Gorr absolutely annihilates someone who has 6 times his PI
Something tells me that there is a core synergy to be built around Gorr + Odin + Mr Fantastic, with any other 2 pieces that could complement the team (Knull, Thor Rags) that will build him up well and be a well rounded team
Gorr seems like a really strong character for newer players who are progressing through Act 5 and 6. I think his bonus against elders will make him a solid counter for The Collector, The Grandmaster, and the 6.2 Champion boss.

@@yuvrajsharma5921 In the intro there is a clip of him dealing 30% of 6.2 Champion's hp in one SP3. His basic attacks and Sp1 and Sp2 aren't crazy but his SP3 damage is there, he reminds me of Magneto for gods and elders, instead of building prowess he's building debuffs to enhance his SP3 damage.

damn. I'm actually looking forward to Gorr. He's got serious potential for some pretty aggy nodes. Looks like he can make short work of that 6.3.1 Medusa and do you bleed nodes

Think he's gonna do well with those cosmic synergy teams that enhance buffs. GORR + Thor + Cap IW + Hercules + Odin + suicides on a Realm of Legends speed run should look interesting...

He seems amazing!
He is cool and probably will be good, but to my understanding his damage primarily consists out of debuffs and the special 3, which would have been suitable for the suicide masteries but I think because he does not have access to willpower healing he suffers more from receiving debuffs than other Champions.
Even though he gains a Regen Buff when he bleeds etc. his Regen isn't nearly as strong as the debuff cf. 2:40
I don't like that he won't regen from received armor breaks.
i think if he can get enough heresy charges he can do some crazy damage.. that special 3 against the 6.2 champion did a ton of damage and the special 3 wasnt even finished
He also gets a similar bonus for each unique debuff he has and gains attack for each damaging debuff he has inflicted.
So he would still do decent damage without Heresy and The God/Elder bonus

Can I just say that mangog is the next one they should totally do for another Thor movie? Like you've already introduced us to gorr so I feel like he's next.

Silver Surfer can be pretty crazy too honestly lol. I have him at r3. Think he's kinda underrated. 😂

@@HunterByNight187 he is fighting an elder (+100% dng boost) with 3 heresy charges each giving +100% damage increase each which is very unrealistic approch since there are not many gods and elders in the game. So, there's that, he's at that time dealing 400% more damage to the champion, he would be dealing way lesser to other champs.
I however don't trust deep dives(knull, apoc, Dr doom, corvus) so i strongly believe his damage isn't just that much.
@@aaryansingh9164 I think he also gets +x% damage increase( Edit :- o have found it out to be 10% of his base attack) from each damaging debuff he has and also another +100% damage increase for each unique debuff he has ( as said by Dave 4:14 to 4:24) .Those bonuses are there
And we are talking about attack rating increase, not special attack damage increase. So there wont be a very huge damage decrease.There would be, but if you can stack up debuffs , then you can still dish out insane damage
Have a look at Ikaris, his sp3 gets 15% damage increase for each incinerates he has (5* Ikaris base attack = 2482,. Attack increase from incinerate = 372.3). There are some more attack increases for each buff he has from his True damage. So at 225 incinerates ,he has 3375% attack increase yet he deals only 150K sp3 .Its a very similar case here too.
So there are these two factors too

It's Strange Gorr in the comic looks like a star wars Twi'lek that's become host to a venom symbiote but his redsign in the MCU Thor love and Thunder makes him look like a monk that turn to the dark side of the force.

Am I watching a knull versus gorr fight? That would make sense given his origin. He could after using the sword for a while realize that "hey the guy that I got this sword from exists even before time just like the gods so he himself is a god"and therefore go ahead and try to kill him.

These deep dives are nice. But Dave could make anyone sound amazing. If you mute the video it kinda looks like Gorr is going to be a complicated noodle till he gets ramped up.

Deep dives don't necessarily show true damage...Knull looked terrible in the deep dives with so many armour breaks. Fast forward months later, he's one the top champs in the game

I called it, gorr looks like a noodle. Absolutely horrific damage. If he performs like the deep dive, he will be the next mangog, sentry, silver surfer... absolute beasts in comics but horseshit in mcoc. Hopefully Gorr turns around like apoc, and perform well in the game. It would be a waste of the awesome animation. Please don't waste Gorr.
Go look at knull's deep dive. You'd call him a noodle because his damage seems low. Stop judging damage from deep dives

What is the purpose of the synergy called blood and gorr? Why would someone want to reduce their own regeneration? Perhaps I'm reading that wrong but it looks like you're better off without Sersei, Herc and Ikirus on the team
It clearly says it reduces the reduction of poison. Poison naturally reduces regen by 30% now it’ll be 15% allowing him to heal a bit
@@mev7709 that's precisely my point. Without the synergy, he heals +31 but with the synergy, he heals +29
No poisen reduces the regenaration and the synergie reduces the ability of poisen to reduce your regenaration by x amount of %
Let's say you heal 100 per second
One poisen stack reduces healing by 30% per second
So you heal 70 per second but the synergie makes poisen 50% weaker
So poisen reduces your healing by 15% and not 30% and from 100 per second it would be 70 per second regenaration with out synergie but with the synergie you will heal 85 per second instead of 70
ONLY while poisend when poisen expires you will heal 100 per second again
Btw the example is just with one stack of poisen
@@gehaket I understand that but the video shows weaker regen WITH the synergy than without. I think Dave accidentally mixed them up. Gorr should be healing more with the synergy, not without it.
