- Elden Ring. It's time to suffer. I'm going to let chat backseat me for a final day today to collect any early-game stuff I might have missed before we make this fully blind from there on. I'll allow backseating for about the first 30 minutes of today's stream just to make sure I've started the first few quests properly and then no more. I also have a new wheel of punishments to suffer through which we created a few weeks ago, so we're sure to suffer every 5 deaths from now on which will hopefully be nice breaks from my so-so gameplay.

ᚩ. Fulgur Ovid is a fictional character. He is not here to become your parasocial friend or influence your worldview. Treat me as a form of entertainment and nothing more. If you can't do that, then don't bother showing up.

Ⅷ. No mentioning sub-counts or viewer numbers unless I already brought up the topic.
Ⅸ. Do not send Superchats or Donations asking for me to say a specific thing. I don't want you wasting your money and I won't do it.
Ⅹ. Superchats, Streamlabs donations and memberships will be read at the beginning and end of each stream so as to not distract from the main topic, but there are times I am unable to. Treat donations as a gift rather than a demand for attention, and don't feel obligated to send them.
Ⅺ. For donations of a personal or heavy nature I will read them silently. I am not a therapist and you shouldn't rely on me for validation or consultation. I may however read some parts aloud if I want to broach the subject. You can always ask me not to read them out loud on Streamlabs. XIV. Do not post in chat to say you are leaving or going to sleep.
Beyond that, let me and the mods deal with issues in chat. One rule break will get you a time out. We will ban if we see your name coming up multiple times. If someone has been overly rude or antagonistic in a single message, I have in the past and will in the future, skip straight to a ban at my own discretion.

Otsufu! We sure did a lot of questing today, and got to go on a lot of different interesting storylines! From the catacombs to the madness to the Albnaurics and etc the world of ER is so interesting. Don't be afraid of the Kindred, it's scary but with a few tries you can definitely overcome it. Congrats on finally eating your century egg!

Thank you so much for more ER content (and such a long stream too)! Due to my current schedule I can only watch it live for the first half and dip out midway but it's always a nice time enjoying the world of ER with you. In fact I've been savoring the later halves like treats for myself after a hard day's work.
David-kun's voice was...really fun? Back then I found that voice cringe (as intended) but now idk why I think it's kinda cute. Especially when you were in a panic dodging and fighting enemies, makes him extra anime lol. Glad you like the century eggs, these kinds of food really do make you wonder how people came up with it in the first place. The first time I ate it was with crab soup, you can try searching "Vietnamese crab soup with century egg" . It's a colorful, dense soup with crab meat, shredded chicken meat, shrimp, corn, carrot, mushroom, onion, black pepper powder, soy sauce, boiled quail eggs and century egg.
Even when you've dropped the limit to 5 deaths per batsu you're still doing too good haha. From the Royal Knight Loretta boss fight, I think it's a good idea to hold back on your summon for the first attempt to see what a boss has to offer, otherwise they'd die too quickly before we even get to appreciate their design and gameplay. One of the best part of watching an ER playthrough is the boss fights after all. Besides, there's this saying from other players that ER doesn't have Difficulty settings bc its difficulty is in the game mechanic itself and how you choose to use it. If you utilize everything and level up properly, the game can become easy enough for beginners to get through. On the contrary, if you want more of a challenge, you can put a limit on yourself or decide to not use certain features.
Anyway, hope you have a good rest before we see you again for the watchalong. And congrats on joining a VA project! It may be small but it's still an experience and hopefully you gained something from it
(And yeah your voice was low throughout the whole stream until you found out about it during the zatsu. I had suspicion that it was your own volume rather than the game but I ended up making you adjust the game's volume instead, oopsie!)

Also the lobsters and the crabs. You can become Elden Lord and they STILL WILL kick your ass

otsu Fuuchan! I gotta say I really enjoy that you're up to try so many new foods (that some of us take for granted as regular things due to culture/geography). I love century egg, and want to recommend it with pickled ginger! The ginger will give a bit of sharpness that cuts through the flavour of the egg and might alleviate the aftertaste you mentioned. Hope you try it out one day!
