I came home this past weekend, and binge watched this season with my MOTHER of all people, and by the end we were running around the living room. The last few days Ive spent now watching some pro and amateur drifting on youtube and found that you had a channel here on RUclips. Your positive attitude with you just going out there to have fun and not to destroy all *Cough cough Diego*... (haha) joined with your ballsey move to REVERSE ENTRY against the Huracan was just INCREDIBLE to watch. I hope in coming years I can take my love for cars to the next level and begin to learn how to drift or at least race, as being on a show like Hyperdrive is quickly becoming a goal that I would like to set for myself, much like people do for American Ninja Warrior. I respect everything you went through to make this happen for the show, and I cant wait to see if they're going to launch a season 2. HOPE TO SEE YOU ON TV ONCE AGAIN!!!
I got 15 minutes into this video where you mention spoiler alerts. You convinced me to actually watch the show, I watched the entire season in one sitting, amd came back to finish the video just now! You were awesome! Were some of the filming scenes out of order in the show though? Some shots, i see your wing smashed, the next scene its not even there, the next its back again like... That didnt make any sense
You being the first driver to go was a great move. Full fucking send every single run. You really deserve some sort of sponsorship from someone. Hell, a lot of the drivers from Hyperdrive deserves some heavy recognition.
I really wish they would've showcased how every driver would help one another out. Since not everyone who watches this show is a petrol head, it would look real good on the car community if people saw how close these machines bring us to one another. Also, was rooting for you the whole time Fielding!
Fielding was my favourite at the start down to sheer exitement and then I really wanted axel to win I like routing for underdogs in the finale with his piston rings gone and it was soo tense only 1 sec apart
I've been telling all of my friends about this show, and then one of them was like yeah I'm friends with Fielding haha. I told him that he needs to watch this to see that ridiculous reverse entry 😂 definitely my favorite person on the show
I’m honestly so blown away that a production with this size of budget didn’t give the participants better notice to plan and capitalize on “exposure bucks” and that they fully expected you to destroy your car and miss work without compensation while the rest of the production team where obviously not doing it for free. I get the value of exposure and would also gladly take it!
Yes that really sucks. These cars don't come for free and you really sacrificed yourself and your car to give the best show they have ever dream of. So ok with exposure but I would have covered at least 30 or more percent of your damage because you really gave 200% for the cause.
I got sooo exited when you came back after the crash, you where 10/10 the most fun driver to watch and I love this video! I can’t wait for the video of fixing the car. Amazing driver, amazing car and an amazing performance on the show. Congrats dude! And I hope to see more of you online! Maybe get the car on bumper to bumper from donut media? That would be amazing😁
You are totally going to get hella sponsors! Every time you were on the screen driving I kept saying this dude HAS to be a driver on fast and furious or something. You are tooo good! I'm happy they started the season off with you as the first driver!
Great job out there. One episode is named Checker or Wrecker, and you could see the announcers trying their hardest not to repeat it. It's wonderful just how much influence and personality you brought. Hopefully I'll seeya at bash.
Dude you were the most exciting driver on this show. I'm Brazillian and I was rooting for my countrymen, but you were by far the most entertaining driver. Mad respect bud. By the way, you have the preetiest car in the show.
Honestly, this is the first show on netflix that I have watched, that I havents skipped most of it, at the start of the show it feels very real, and feels like the emotions are there, but by the end, it felt staged, from the cast to some of the drivers, you were real when you were driving. I loved how the show brought alot of people together and it shows that you guys became friends, but on the other hand, it was pretty unfair to some of the drivers, because any rich guy can buy a modded car and have fun with it, but it takes time to mod it perfectly and put your mind, heart and soul into it, is something you can’t. It felt in the show that some drivers were just brought for the laughs, it is fun and relieving, but it takes the seriousness that the show has to have, because the show was a competition, it wasn’t a parody of a shitty movie. Sorrry for the long comment, you were great man, sorry about your car, that lap would’ve been legendary!
More videos! Yes! This is amazing Shredder. Glad you're sharing all these videos. I honestly hope you can there's Season 2 with hopefully the old crew again. It'd be awesome to watch the same bunch of racers and some new ones on another season. I hope you'll get more funding soon. Cause you definitely deserve it. All the best Shredder to you and your future races. Big fan 🙏🏻❤️

Thanks for the detailed video, man you were a joy to watch and the obvious delight you took in blasting around that track was infectious!! You and Aaron were my favourites!! Best of luck and look forward to seeing you driving more!!
I just wrapped up Hyperdrive and man, that show was a rush, I wish I could do a tenth of what you guys did out there. Fielding, your runs were so much fun to watch, seeing you give it 110% every single time no matter the consequences. I think it's super dumb that Netflix didn't at least cover the cost of damages on the show, you'd think they could at least do that much. Hoping you get a huge boost in your career from this though, good luck!
Nice video on the Hyperdrive stuff, answered most of the questions i had on the show so thank you!, Also have to say you were definitely the most entertaining out of everyone to watch so thank you for that! Great work man will be following your progress for now on brother!
Hey Fielding, you absolutely blew me away through the whole show! Never before have I jumped out of my seat in excitement watching someone race! The only thing that tops your skills is your attitude and personality, you are and absolute legend! I hope to see you on the next season! Followed and subscribed! Never stop shredding!
What I was wondering the whole show: what were the targets with the red balls in them made of? Did they damage any of the cars at all? Thanks in advance, loved your performance Fielding!
I really liked this video. You answered a lot of the questions I had. It’s disappointing that Netflix can’t offer a little more compensation for the competitors, or even just the winners, when some of them give up so much just to get there. But, I understand they are not selling big money advertising slots on prime time network TV. I am happy that they were at least able to make the show a reality in the best way they knew how. Anyway Fielding, I loved watching you on the show, as it was so clear you were really enjoying the experience of driving on this show. All the best moving forward. I hope being a part of this show leads to good things for you, and helps fuel your passion.
This was the dopest show I’ve ever watched on Netflix. Rut was a great host, you were my favorite driver and you’ve got the most metal name of all time so highest of fives to your parents.
Cameras compensate for bad visibility in a car really well for some reason. I once drove in thick mist in which I could barely see the front of my hood. Looking back on the camera imagery after it looked far less dramatic, with maybe three quarters of a car length visible in front. So yeah, I really believe you when you say you couldn't see anything after walk on water!

yeah he flew quite a few amazing jets. the F-4, the A-7, and finished his career with the F-16 which IMO is the coolest fighter jet ever. crazy fast and nimble but not all the computers of the new jets that wont let you pull so many G's you pass out. Just like modern cars traction control systems, the older ones are more gnarly to drive because they dont get in the way of going too hard haha
Dude great video, very natural and genuine vibe. You answered the exact questions I had about the show and I'm looking forward to more content and future opportunities I'm sure are going to come your way. You were one of the most entertaining parts of an already awesome show and after you explaining the situation with no practice, full risk to you car and all the rest it just makes it even more impressive the way you attacked the track. Some of those loooooong transition drifts between obstacles had me literately jumping out of my seat. NOBODY else was doing that close to your commitment. Although I was wanting you to win so I was also yelling at the TV for you to take it down a peg at the same haha. Make sure you're ducks are in a row, I foresee you becoming very well known in the coming months/years.

I’m so glad you said that about Mike your spotter in regards to the Leveler because I was yelling at the TV over that! 😂
Goddamn best driver and Amazing personality. Absolute Legend.
Amazing driver but digeo was the best in my opinion🤷🏼♂️
@@smokeperp6999 Diego was Amazing too. But i just Loved the long drifting.
Taniguchi!!! Fielding in a close 2nd
@@itsspoodini Loved his car.
I told him that he needs to watch this to see that ridiculous reverse entry 😂 definitely my favorite person on the show
My daughter and I watched it and were rooting for you. Diego is like the terminator.
So ok with exposure but I would have covered at least 30 or more percent of your damage because you really gave 200% for the cause.
i hope in season 2 they invite public crowds into the show to make it even merrier
Problem with that in a show like this is spoilers
@@SammySprinklar maybe a limited crowd, with families and relatives of the contestants
Too many mustangs for that to be safe...
@@crunchyburger7 🤣🤣
I got to watch it up close in personal I live in Rochester ny it was definitely sick. We weren’t aloud to have are phones out or anything
Man, you were nuts on the track, always a joy to see you drive on Hyperdrive.. All the best and hope to see you on more TV / Netflix shows
I like the fact the 240ssx were in the finals gives me motivation to finish mine and learn how to drift
The next living embodiment of "if in doubt, flat out" since Colin Mcrae.
I binged the show! You were very entertaining to watch. Thanks for going all out!
that reverse entry was the best move in the show honestly
The entire show, I couldn't help but think that this guy can out drive pretty much any car out there. Kudos. 👍
taniguchi? Really?
@@Mr_jz_12Yeah he was one of my favorite drivers 😁👍
More videos! Yes! This is amazing Shredder. Glad you're sharing all these videos. I honestly hope you can there's Season 2 with hopefully the old crew again. It'd be awesome to watch the same bunch of racers and some new ones on another season. I hope you'll get more funding soon. Cause you definitely deserve it. All the best Shredder to you and your future races. Big fan 🙏🏻❤️
That reverse entry was dope though 😂
I’m from Poland and as much as I was trying to keep it patriotic cheering for Karolina, you were still the one in my heart. Absolutely love your passion, charisma and mind blowing skills. Also the car is k-i-l-l-e-r 🚀 big fan here!
Thanks for the detailed video, man you were a joy to watch and the obvious delight you took in blasting around that track was infectious!! You and Aaron were my favourites!! Best of luck and look forward to seeing you driving more!!
You’re a massive inspiration. Stoked for everything you’ve accomplished.
If the lambo got wrecked they didn't want to touch that aha. But some sort of payment for the top 12 competitors
Jesse Hoefsmit The balls were plastic, the targets that held the balls in place were foam. He mentioned it on his fb page
@@chwder50 oh sick, thanks!
@@chwder50 lol those sound effects make it sound so brutal, good to know
I really liked this video.
They should remove the leveler Cause it slows down the show so mutch and they should spoil les in te little video at the beginning.
Your engine sounded truely AMAZING Shredder at Lone Star, when you drove that day with Elissa Victoria, that is one really cool girl🔥Much Love Shredder, God bless bro 🙏🏻 ♥️
Bobby Orford that's 80% of why I bought a jz 😎
@@FieldingShredder that was smart thinking you did at that time, nice man + you can never go wrong with a Toyota engine, lol, you seem like a real unpretentious kinda guy, never loose that blessed gift/quality🙋♂️
Was a big fan of the Wild Child during the show. So sorry to hear about his dad but still couldn't imagine how cool it must been to have a father that flew the best fighter jet ever built.
yeah he flew quite a few amazing jets. the F-4, the A-7, and finished his career with the F-16 which IMO is the coolest fighter jet ever. crazy fast and nimble but not all the computers of the new jets that wont let you pull so many G's you pass out.
SVTake2 thank you so much for the kind and honest take on my performance. I truly felt like everyone got exactly what they wanted from the show. Diego gets the 🏆 and makes his dad happy, and I had the MOST fun of anyone there 😂 looking forward to even more in the future! 🚀
You absolutely crushed it man. Really enjoyed it!
If the announcers weren’t so fake the show would be 10xs better
KevKevTheCowboy agreed
"Whoooooaaaaaaa! See what he did there?!!"
"Wooooooaaaaaa! That was a close one!"
"Woooooaaaaaaa! Was that supposed to happen??"
"Woooooooaaaaa!" *rinse**repeat*
@@kaj750 talking about cars and having 0 knowledge about cars. lol it was so cringy
@@Repavich It was. Despite all that, it was a really fun watch and I hope they do another season.
@@kaj750 with better commentators. Please. Lol everything else was dope.
I haven't finished the series yet, but I really love the serie and I absolutely love whatching you drifting around those corners and having a lot of fun driving. So keep doing what you do and always stay positive whatever you do or whatever happens to you.
Honestly Axel, atsushi and you made the show I was so sad that you wrecked your car but so happy when you got you're second chance. Congrats man you're an amazing driver!
Keep up the good work! Loving the vids
When i see you in the first episode i can't believe it hahahaha it was too much fun seeing you driving like this. Im going to be in season 2, no matter what i have to do!
I was cheering you for you the whole season. You're a true wild man with serious skill. Love the insight into the show. You could definitely tell there was a lack of practice so it's amazing how well some of the drivers handled the course.
Was rooting for you the whole show , almost quit watching when you wrecked but the resurrection rounds I knew you had it bro . My wife was rooting for Diego and his protege .
show was weird, but i liked your car. found this video by accident lol. Great car
Yes we want season 2 I really enjoyed you drifting such a fun guy
Man I was rooting for you so bad I am glad you made that comeback! you are awesome!!!!
keep it UP! a fan from Puerto Rico!
been watching the show in South Africa. still watching the last few episodes. You were/ are definitely one of the family favourite drivers - especially how much fun you seem to be having while competing
.
Great driving man! putting down a great show
Yo
I didn't know you before the show but now I got to know you and all* the other drivers. After seeing the whole show you are definitely my favourite driver since your second run and the head to head was amazing!
I really like cars but I am actually 17 years old but I have a license. To build up a car like you from Japan is one of my goals (dream car is the Supra MK4).
I will follow your path and videos from now on.
Thanks Fielding and keep rolling the dice 🎲🎲

Congratulations! Really impressed with you and was very happy to see you coming back and taking it all the way to the end, big fan
Awesome job on the show! You were easily my favorite driver to watch! Hope you can keep it going and continue to impress and improve. Hope to see you expand your brand. Best of luck Shredder!
I wish i could be in your passenger sit because damn that would be fun
I dunno if shitting your pants for 6 solid minutes would be that much fun.

WE LOVED YOU ON THE SHOW!! ❤️❤️❤️
AGREEED :D
Congratulations from Romania, you where the best out there, really loved the way you handled that Nissan. That is pure driving art!!!
This man needs a sponsor. You had me jumping out of my chair when you won the wildcard head to head
get me one!
Man I was on your team since episode 1, love s14s.
You didn't get paid?! Honestly though it's still probably worth it. The "exposure bucks" is a real thing. The money will come!
It's still wierd.
Super lame IMO. In 2018 n3tflix profits were around 1.211 Billion. They can afford to pay people to create content
@@Mr.4AGE yes a car is expensive for him, but it's a joke on anything near the Netflix budget. Thumbs down for greeding huge companies, on that.
Stacey-Lee just revealed her car got a Monster Energy makeover, so the exposure did help.
Watched hyperdrive for the litebrite. Absolutely loved every second you were on the course. You are quite the showman! Awesome work!
When I watched the show, I noticed and really appreciate the comradery of every one, how everyone cheer & concern for each other. Really glad to hear from you that they are real, not just faking it for the camera!
Mark Rios tuned my Ls swap Tacoma. Which is the guy in the 1300hp camaro 🤘🤘
Looks like you ain’t need my comments no more! About time you got some recognition! Congratulations!

Just finished watching the show. One of the best automotive shows I've ever seen! Thanks for answering all these questions!
What a cool, down to earth dude. Glad to know there's still real people on TV. Hats off to you.
Keep rutlage get rid of the other commentators and change thrm for idk tanner foust maybe if possible Jeremy clarkison or WHOEVER
@@matchboxcody that would be more fun to watch AND will get more viewers because of their fame.
Yea i thought the host selection was weird. Rutt was the only car guy and had to explain how cars work to these guys (and non car people viewers I guess)
Here's a thought, Fielding should be a host. Love his personality and its be cool to have a vet as a host for future seasons that can attest to the difficulty of the challenges and maybe even run the courses to give tips to the contestants.
“talk to me goose”
I love that car man!! Great job on the show, was pulling for you all the way!
You truly inspire me to chase after my racing dreams, and seeing you driving like an absolute master is an inspiration for anyone who wants to be a racing driver
Loved the show, but It’s obvious crap about not getting paid or compensation for damage. Netflix will make so much for this show! They legit gave 50 K to the winner of the glass blowing show 😒 and none of the glass blowers destroyed their own cars by driving through pointless water obstacles 😂🧐
Wtf 50k? For blowing glass?
Wait 10s of thousands of applicants and one of the ones who made it through was a guy in an AMG who opens doors to hit targets cause he can’t drift 🤦♂️ at least Jordan made it interesting
BladeMasta ヅ I know right, can’t believe the show actually allowed that and dint give any penalties if you ask me your door is the front of your car. Total joke.
Scott Atkinson right
Dude your a absolute beast. Fan for life. Been fixing up a 5 series for a couple years now but since I seen the show has really got my inspired to get going again.
Great job man. You absolutely killed it. One of my favorite racers to watch and probably my favorite modification wise too. Keep it up!
