The season was a bit rough as we managed to sneak into the playoffs with a 12-12 record. It was nice to see us knock off the Frontrunners before losing to the Undead. The team still has a lot of talent, and we are trending in a younger direction. Unfortunately, we are spending a lot of money on our offense and no one is truly consistent enough to deserve the paycheck. I like these guys a lot, and I'm not saying we shouldn't pay them, but it's starting to get harder to justify some of them. I might have missed it, but it seems like Bash Neal really hasn't done much to justify his contract, Minors has been solid these last few seasons, but has also had a bunch of duds too. The only two offensive players I think are consistent enough to be the new "core" IMO, would be Aggro and George.
Pitching wise, love what I saw from Dubbs, Mathews, Christiansen and Yuppers. Those are players we need to keep around! I think that I saw Hancock become available in free agency. Now that Oliver has retired, it might be a good idea to divert some funds over to him even at the cost of some of our higher paid players. Granted, I just want Hancock back lol.
Burne "Bright" Oliver and Hesto "Ole" Reliable have retired. It was quite the run for both of them, but a standing ovation to Burne for staying with the team through the history of our franchise. He did everything that was asked of him, developed like crazy, had no problem with the decision to bring in Hancock a few years ago, and once he left, Oliver put his head down and got right back to work. What a guy! Hesto had a great career as well and it's sad to see him go. Overall, I think this is around the time we will start seeing these players dropping like flies over the next few years. Everyone is in their mid to late 30s and it's getting to that time. No matter when it happens, I'm excited to see how the Cutters decide to approach each season as they work to capture another title in the near future!
Great content as always! Good job buddy!!

@Scootsie16 Thanks for the comment as we had some ups and downs this year but managed to steal a playoff berth and knock off a division rival in the first round before things crashed down on us again. I think you're right about the offense, we live and die by it and we need to more closely examine them in the coming seasons to determine if they're worth keeping together or not. Our pitching was mostly phenomenal this year as they shouldered the load and carried us into the postseason. Hope we can keep them together in the coming offseason. Sad to see Burne and Hesto hang them up, but they both had fantastic careers and mad props to Burne for becoming the face of the franchise. He's going down as a channel legend for sure with that performance. Only 11 of the originals are left and I think you're right they'll start dropping like flies soon enough, can't wait to see what happens next! Thanks for watching and commenting, appreciate the support! #TheNastyOne

@jho_34 Yeah it was a huge gut punch to watch him walk away like that. I was hoping we'd get him one more ring before he left. He's definitely redeemed himself from his Buzzards series counterpart. Burnbright shall rest easy as one of the channel legends for sure.

@PRAKNASTY Absolutely! I'll never be able to stumble across a randomly generated player with "Burnout" in the name without thinking about Mr. Oliver

@jho_34 Same here, he'll always be in the forefront when either Burne or Oliver comes up for a random name.
