Thanks for posting. Yes the car dealers want to much money to change it out. I add the date and mileage onto the front face of the filter before l reinstall the new filter, as a reference for myself.
Cheers
Good info. I'm a spreadsheet nerd so I keep all maintenance on all vehicles in a spreadsheet. As for this car I'm so happy the cabin air filter is easy to change. I remember one car I had a while back (I think it was a 2016 Maxima) was a nightmare. You had to contort your body in ways a guy my age (40's at the time) just won't contort and I remember there being no room to get your arm or hand in there to get the filter in or out and then putting the door back on was an utter pain. Thanks as always my friend.
Hello Tim! I hope you're doing well.
Funny story, it's the same process on my Bronco! Almost the exact same door and all.
Shoot, they sell a ton of Bronco's. I should have put that in the title and I would do a heck of a lot more views. LOL
@@DadsGarageDIY LOL!
what about the engine air filter?
I have a Blackwing and it is different from the CT4 and V series. If you want to see that I will do a video on it next time it needs filters (yes the Blackwing takes 2 air filters). Please let me know. I'll be glad to do it.
FYI Rock Auto has CF185 for $21.79 as of 10/16/24.
Great info. I love Rock Auto. I use them often for filters.
