Clover has gone thru the roof for a market gardener like me. Crimson and Berseem. I use clover to crowd out the weeds in my winter patches. It is the only thing i have ever seen get rid of nut grass. It was cold and windy today in Harris County ,Ga. As usual Patrick great job.
My dad drilled clover in 2006 that was still coming up until we broke the dirt last year for the first time since he sowed it. For the 15 years it was there it produced some of the best crops and even some of the best peanuts even though we strip filled them
Enjoyed the video, never seen clover planted before but makes sense . You talk about the huge deer and wild hog problem. Do you have any bear in that area . The bear in my area are a problem . They will tear up a field of corn .
Spent a lot of time on an open station 4030 and a 4430. Both had the quad range. Clamp on dual's are OK for light tillage. They are easy on easy off. Used them for years without much trouble. I have the same pasture plow only it is a 7 shank. Those feet are getting expensive now too. I welded some build up material on mine to make them last longer. Waited too late this year for clover but it is in the plan for next year. Good plan on the deer decoying to the clover. Hope it works...
Yes my friend, every day that god let’s we wake is a blessing from god, I enjoy the videos, very informative!!
Thanks for watching. * God is capitalized b/c there is only one therefore making His name a pronoun.

I have never heard of using clover to get rid of nutgrass. I’m going to have to look into that.

Thanks for watching & commenting Johnny. Amen on the easy on and easy off clamp-ons! One man job v. 2 men and a loader
Where do I sign up for a weekend hunt I need to fill my freezer
Does that 4430 have a power shift transmission or did my ears deceive me? Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences with us.
The 3020, 4020, & 4430 on this channel are all Power shift
The deer are a problem they eat last 2 crops of beans up for me
They are a major nuisance here. Where are you located?
56 were eating my soybeans the other day at noon.
That’ll hurt the wallet
Man that’s a heap of deer to do that kind of damage!
We got more deer within 4 miles of our shop than i have seen anywhere on earth.
@@PatrickShivers goodness! Guess if I want to go shoot a deer I need to give you a holler. Would be doing you a favor it sounds.
