Hi there! Developer of the community corporations here. Interesting video! Fun fact: Agricola Inc's effect is based on the real Agricola board game which implements a similar scoring mechanism. If you are interested to do a Part 2, do check out the community server which features several other corporations: Aristarchus, Colonial One, Hotsprings, Junk Ventures, Labour Union and UNMO. Generally every corp here tries to encourage a different and unique playstyle,
Hey very cool! Thanks for making/implementing them, they are quite fun to play. I really like the 'different and unique playstyle' aspects of them. Interesting! I didn't get the connection, but that does make sense - I have played the Agricola board game once before. I usually play on a non-official server as well but I have never seen the ones you have mentioned before. I was thinking of doing the 'The Moon' fan expansion corporations but I have honestly never played with them.
Strategy Game Plan That’s a good idea as they don’t get much coverage. There are several servers that have branched out, each offering their own unique additions to the game. Feel free to reach me on Discord @memories90 if you’d like to get more info on the backstory for each fan corp!
Personally I don't agree that Poseidon is broken, there is strong counterplay against it. Midas is tricky as it needs great engine cards right off the bat, otherwise it suffers badly. I believe the stats are influenced by selection bias (i.e. Midas only gets picked when the player has a strong engine starting hand) but the corp is definitely very solid under those circumstances
@@nwai1990 Poseidon - Also has the highest winrate out of any non-fanmade corps. It's reliant on one of the 4 top tier colonies being around (Ceres, Triton, Pluto, Luna) and preferably multiples. But those are good odds and you get to see colonies before committing to Poseidon. The point is building a bunch of colonies is good for Poseidon, because you get a lot of free income. Not building any colonies is good for Poseidon, because you are missing out on a hugely advantageous part of the game and Poseidon gets all the bonuses for itself. Midas - Yes, it's situational and you certainly need a hand that gets off the ground quickly with the extra cash. I think it's A tier if you value peak potential (how good is it when the circumstances make it right to pick the corps) and probably still B tier when you value consistency and frequency (how often will I want to pick this when offered).

@@nwai1990 Thanks! I tried to message/add you - my username is strategygameplan#2872
@@strategygameplan9488 Just saw this! Added you on Discord
Where can i find those corps?
Wow, it's great to see a summary of the community corporations. Have you tried the Moon and Pathfinders corporations?
Thank you! Far moreso Pathfinders than the Moon, they are all great additions to the game and fun to try! I should include them in another video.
I think you missed two corporations from the Big box. Both Astrodrill and Pharmalab. Keep up the good work!
Thanks! I knew I was forgetting something!
In recent online game stats, Midas had by far the highest winrate, even ahead of the otherwise most broken corps Poseidon. Definitely deserves an A!
I do like Midas! I think it suffers greatly from a bad 10 card initial draw though. Love it with Milestones.
