This is Flipkart's common problem, as usual. A long time ago, I was a customer of Flipkart, but due to repeated issues like this, not only with Game Disc but also with other products, now I am not purchasing anything from Flipkart. Used to buy Pendrive from them but last pendrives I buyed don't transfer bigger files even in 125gb it can't transfer 10gb file 🤦♂ wase do you guy's know it's trustable for food products like chips, cold drinks, jam, peanut butter or they even scamm there

It's like they are making you sign a terms & condition sheet and once you signed it you are on your own, you'll become helpless and can't do anything against them because you yourself signed it. When I went there turns out none of the amenities were there as promised. I didn't even get a refund from MMT when I refused to stay there after they lied about it. All the customer care said was "the hotel refused to refund". Of course the hotel refused, what did you think he was going to do? Tell you the truth and refund the money? These e-commerce apps should not be trusted unless they prove themselves. Stop fooling yourself thinking if it is an Indian company it will not cheat. In fact, in this case the chances are higher. At least with Amazon I can trust them to refund me money in case of a fraudulent product is sold to me on their platform. Integrity is hard to find in a lot of Indian Brands.

I had bought tv from flipkart brand name marq by flipkart. The tv had panel issue with 2 dead pixel straight out of the box which I did not see at the time of delivery. Later on I opted for replacement and tech person came for verification. He saw the problem and told it to brand but they refuse to accept it and told him to tell me that they will accept it if only there is more than 3 dead pixel and same is mentioned in thier policy which is infact wrong and forget about policy they do not even have official website. After repeated calls with no help, I wrote a mail to grievance s department and tagged all senior heads email id. After that I got a call from one lady from grievance department and she helped me with the case and then I returned the tv with full refund.That refund also took 10 days to reflect in my ac. Calling customer care wont help in this type situation just one mail to grevance email id was enough for me.
I also received fake disc, they accepted my return and this time they sent me fake Ps4 disc. I have applied for return again and this time they are saying they will refund. Let's see what will happen now
Flipkart customer support is a joke in itself. The worst support you can expect. Amazon support is very supportive to their customers and they go beyond policies many times to help the customer. Only buy from Flipkart if the product is not available anywhere else. Else always prefer Amazon.

OBD means the internal packaging will be opened so that you can verify the actual product. If the delivery boy didn't do that then you should have selected ''Didn't verify product'' and it could've probably been a very different conversation. The delivery boy is supposed to upload the pictures of the actual product and in case those pictures are not available with Flipkart then it wasn't an OBD. Retailnet is one of the oldest and most reliable sellers on Flipkart and also the most trustworthy, never faced an issue with it once. If you're saying that others have written bad reviews too, shouldn't that have cautioned you to be extra vigilant during OBD and share OTP only after thorough verification. Others have written bad reviews too isn't a good arguement for policy exception since it can easily be taken advantage of. I too can order something with some bad reviews, receive a genuine product and then claim foul play and present my case. Something's fishy!
true , I ordered my thinkpad E41 (47000Rs) way back in 2021 Dec, It was only available on flipkart , the delivery boy opened the laptop in front of me and also shot a video of laptop successfully booting and me being satisfied by the product's authenticity

Open box policy does not mean that you will have to actually use it and confirm, you checked that it is sealed or not and it is a disc not a soap or anything, the seller should pay heavy compensstion and banned from flipkart

amazon just refunds the money in these situations. NO QUESTIONS ASKED. I ordered Horizon Zero Dawn and the disc wasn't even fake. It was just a ps4 bundle disc which was opened, the dlc code was removed, the "not for sale" was blacked out with permanent marker and then resealed. When I explained this to amazon, they refunded the money and I got to keep the game disc (brand new for all intents and purposes) for free.
Similar thing had happened with me when I had ordered Apple Pencil from Flipkart, I got Nataraj Pencil 😅 These sellers are openly stealing from public and I bet there have been hundreds of FIRs raised by the company. But this doesn’t stop. That’s why I trust Amazon more than Flipkart
Flipkart has a very terrible process and their service partner has a great history of harassing the customer. All that the girl had to do was forward your concern to the next team and share the turn around time with you, instead she misunderstood the whole issue of product being fake as defective and not working, and the no return policy she talks about does not mean customer can't get return the product. Its just that in case you do not like it, you can't return. This happened to me twice with flipkart and twice with amazon, since then I have stopped buying physical discs. I am happy with digital downloads if I don't have to deal with such hassle. Also speaking from from experience, never talk this softly to these execs, always be stern and angry, they refund the money easily that way, I got refunds for all those fake/damaged discs in this way.

This is really a bad experience any buyer can have , however I would like to highlight that Flipkart is a marketplace , especially when a Flipkart's authorized seller fulfills the order like Retailnet then it would be a tagged or will be flagged with F-assured badge, basis the video I can see that product you placed an order with seems to be a non-F-assured seller which means that that particular seller from whom you placed an order is not actual Retailnet seller but someone who has copied the same name on listing page to scam the people. As of now I can see that seller is no longer listed on the site seems like Flipkart has already taken down the listing and seller for the massive reports. Flipkart really needs to build and implement a system to curb this issue as this kind of scams can go massive considering the volume of orders placed on daily basis. As this will also impact on the reputation of their own brand where fake sellers are duping innocent customers with their hard earned money. As of now I would suggest you to lodge a complaint in consumer forum with all valid evidences , in most of the such cases where issue is genuine then flipkart will honour you the complete refund.

So I made sure the disc was og in front of that open box delivery.. immediately saw that blue ray logo and didn't accept the parcel and hence I got the return. She is lying, I have gotten a replacement for a broken disk of Rachet and Clank PS5, I was in same situation (OTP based delivery). After some pushing they offered me replacement or refund option.

OBD means the internal packaging will be opened so that you can verify the actual product. If the delivery boy didn't do that then you should have selected ''Didn't verify product'' and it could've probably been a very different conversation. The delivery boy is supposed to upload the pictures of the actual product and in case those pictures are not available with Flipkart then it wasn't an OBD. Retailnet is one of the oldest and most reliable sellers on Flipkart and also the most trustworthy, never faced an issue with it once. If you're saying that others have written bad reviews too, shouldn't that have cautioned you to be extra vigilant during OBD and share OTP only after thorough verification. Others have written bad reviews too isn't a good arguement for policy exception since it can easily be taken advantage of. I too can order something with some bad reviews, receive a genuine product and then claim foul play and present my case. Something's fishy!

To mene krdiya payment and otp. Uske baad dekha to literally cardboard aya hua tha package mein.. mene use bola ki esa ku hai product ye to product hi nhi hai to usne bola mera kam yaha pr khtm hogya hai aap customer care se baat kro. Customer care ne bahot latkaya open box delivery k naam pr 1-2 week.. fr mene ek din esa jhadha unhe.. unhone turant refund k liye raise krdi request.. pr kaafi struggle tha.. 1-1.5 month lag gya mujhe refund krwate..

Open box policy does not mean that you will have to actually use it and confirm, you checked that it is sealed or not and it is a disc not a soap or anything, the seller should pay heavy compensstion and banned from flipkart
Bhai open box delivery thi, toh apne box open kyu nahi kiya? Tabhi patah chal jata. Mein toh disk order karta hun, aane pe obd delivery mein bande ko 50 rupaye extra deke test bhi karta hun.
amazon just refunds the money in these situations. NO QUESTIONS ASKED. I ordered Horizon Zero Dawn and the disc wasn't even fake. It was just a ps4 bundle disc which was opened, the dlc code was removed, the "not for sale" was blacked out with permanent marker and then resealed. When I explained this to amazon, they refunded the money and I got to keep the game disc (brand new for all intents and purposes) for free.
Similar thing had happened with me when I had ordered Apple Pencil from Flipkart, I got Nataraj Pencil 😅 These sellers are openly stealing from public and I bet there have been hundreds of FIRs raised by the company. But this doesn’t stop. That’s why I trust Amazon more than Flipkart

Flipkart has a very terrible process and their service partner has a great history of harassing the customer. All that the girl had to do was forward your concern to the next team and share the turn around time with you, instead she misunderstood the whole issue of product being fake as defective and not working, and the no return policy she talks about does not mean customer can't get return the product. Its just that in case you do not like it, you can't return. All other scenarios count.

This happened to me twice with flipkart and twice with amazon, since then I have stopped buying physical discs. I am happy with digital downloads if I don't have to deal with such hassle. Also speaking from from experience, never talk this softly to these execs, always be stern and angry, they refund the money easily that way, I got refunds for all those fake/damaged discs in this way.

This is really a bad experience any buyer can have , however I would like to highlight that Flipkart is a marketplace , especially when a Flipkart's authorized seller fulfills the order like Retailnet then it would be a tagged or will be flagged with F-assured badge, basis the video I can see that product you placed an order with seems to be a non-F-assured seller which means that that particular seller from whom you placed an order is not actual Retailnet seller but someone who has copied the same name on listing page to scam the people. As of now I can see that seller is no longer listed on the site seems like Flipkart has already taken down the listing and seller for the massive reports.
Flipkart really needs to build and implement a system to curb this issue as this kind of scams can go massive considering the volume of orders placed on daily basis. As this will also impact on the reputation of their own brand where fake sellers are duping innocent customers with their hard earned money.
As of now I would suggest you to lodge a complaint in consumer forum with all valid evidences , in most of the such cases where issue is genuine then flipkart will honour you the complete refund.

So I made sure the disc was og in front of that open box delivery.. immediately saw that blue ray logo and didn't accept the parcel and hence I got the return.
