wait the beta PC is under NDA but not console? did i understand that right?
The other way around, the console beta players got to play the full game which includes the end game and it was under NDA, the PC beta was only 1-30 and there was no NDA for that.
@@FateOdinGaming Ohhh Ye that's Sus AF.... They know there's no endgame and console players haven't seen it yet so they limit pc players so they won't notice it's the same old shit
Doing something over and over without any noticable change is madness.... new people will do the same as veteran. Will think the game is good... at the end will find it boring and stop... it won't change anything.... AGS are juste pure non sens
You are wrong. The problems are social and almost only social. High end pvp guilds are the only ones with serious discord population. Since most players are pve this prevents a collection nerd for pve guilds for raids etc. Thus, no population.
Thanks for the input, I can totally see where that could be a cause as well. What things do you think AGS could implement to increase social engagement in the game?
Uh no...social is by far NOT the only reason the game failed. It is a factor. Guilds didn't matter, they tried to make them matter more by requiring more players for Wars.
The core issues are the combat, it's floaty, blocking is pointless even as a shield user (makes no sense), no parry, LMB spam while having higher DPS usually nets you the victory, even moreso with the new lockon.
Horribly designed endgame activities and systems. Players should not be getting gold that can be used in the TP from taxes of owning territories. When the game first released, there were players that had so much gold they maxed all their professions, bought BiS gear and were still gold capped. The rich got richer...that's is not how you promote a good MMO economy.
In a nutshell. New World is a bad game by incompetent devs. It's like baby's first MMO from a design perspective and like they didn't look at any of the countless other MMOs for guidance...
