      AlejandroIALLEXX Полностью согласен. Я имею ввиду, что Дима целенаправленно не тренируется, сочетает семинары с перелетами, а форму держит конкретно!

    For those who know: if Dmitry would enter a powerlifting competition, would he have good chances of placing high? (I don't really know how the system works, but you get the idea of what im asking)

    • @2014andon
      @2014andon 10 лет назад

      * assuming he would have some time to catch up the bench (he was benching around 500 if im correct)

    • @FenwynFlies
      @FenwynFlies 10 лет назад +1

      sukablianah2 500lb bench is very high for raw competitors. Someone like Klokov has no need to cheat with suits or shirts, so 500lbs is adequate. Surely his deadlift and squat numbers would make up any deficiencies of upper body, if any.

    I would like to see you at least one time in bench press (raw), It will be very interesting.
    and i have a question for you. I can bench 220 kg but my push press is only 120 kg. what the hell, Is something going wrong?

    • @mikek2005
      @mikek2005 9 лет назад

      Are you doing full range of motion for that 220 kg? Cause if you aren't then you're just inflating the 220

    • @konagamemnon4940

      I think that you have not understood the question. The 220kg is my best on bench press not snacth or clean and jerk, and of course is taw and full range of motion. My push press although is very poor only 120kg and im wondering what the hell i am doing wrong.

    • @mikek2005
      @mikek2005 9 лет назад

      Kon Agamemnon
      I was asking if you were doing full range of motion for the 220 kg bench press. Cause some people don't lock out when they do bench press, and it's easier and you can lift more if you don't lock out. You have to compare oranges to oranges. If you ask 2 people how many pushups they can do, and one says 80 and another 30, what the 80 guy is not telling you is that he did those 8 in four sets of 20 with a 5 min break between. And if the 30 guy did them non stop in only one set, I'm pretty sure he can do 4 sets too with a 5 min break between set, which makes his number 120. So at first you would think the guy with 80 is stronger, but if you compare oranges to oranges, then it's the guy with the 30 that's stronger. You can't compare apples to oranges. The reason I think you can do so much with bench press and not so much with push press is because you didn't do the exercises correctly in the beginning and didn't develop proper strength. Cause bench press is easier and you can kind of cheat just like some people do half assed push ups

      Yes full range and in competition.(raw without shirt) My deadlift is 250kg and squat 230.Today in the gym i did 3x3 on 185 kg as i am preparing for the new competition on 1st of February(.i am 100 kg and 45 years old heigh1.70) but push press only 120 why?

    • @mikek2005
      @mikek2005 9 лет назад

      Kon Agamemnon
      Keep practicing the push press. Train progressively. Add about 1 or 2 kg to that 120 and keep adding and you will be able to do more than 120. Add something realistic, don't try to add 5 kg or 10 kg. And make sure you eat fruits and vegetables cause protein is not the only thing required for protein synthesis to occur in your body. And maybe you have developed your muscles specifically for the bench press and now it's hard to do lots of weight with push press, I don't know if this is true though, just a guess
