Omg yes. If he makes comments similar to a year ago without remembering what he said, what can you tell from that? It's like words provoke certain thoughts, so if you used the same words, what would it take to provoke different thoughts? Different personality traits, different knowledge, maybe being exposed to different language and expressions so that your brain arrives at different thoughts?
I used to think the old sprites were fine, and I thought the new ones looked about the same. Then I saw the original sprites again and I almost gagged.
i was the chatter in 32:08 (ive spent so many bits since joe came back….) and i basically had the 1st stream memorized so i caught sooooo many of these repeated moments. it’s so funny to see it all come together in this comp. thanks for the highlight vids you make 🫶
The new discoveries didn't feature much banter aside from Blonde Beatrice so I figured I would leave it out until cutting together an Umineko series edit, or at least until the plot gets a bit deeper. Seemed like a bit of a waste to add just an extra 20 minutes or so of raw footage.
@@avarisi Considering the amount of meme-worthy stuff that's gonna be in Umineko, you might wanna do separate edits per episode. On average one episode will be roughly 4 streams I imagine
The leap year cut recaps major narrative points - this one is a bit harder to follow but still possible. The one stream meme missing is about 10 minutes of Joe blonde discussion and follow-up when a certain portrait shows up.
If you've never seen Umineko before, I would recommend watching the Leap Day edit. It'll best show Joe's initial impressions without dragging on too long. You can skip to 5:36:30 on the new VOD to catch up to the point where Joe stopped his first run. This double-cut is optional, best for watching to see the differences between the first playthrough and the replay.
I believe that we will one day reach the fabled January 2022 release date for the Witcher 3 video series, even if it takes a decade or more of insufferable weeb-shtick to get to it.
@@sfx.1355Why should he not like it? A lot of people like this VN and if he likes the beginning there is honestly no reason why he shouldn’t like the rest of the VN. The only problem I see is that the VN is very long and that’s the reason why it’s not a good stream game so he may not finish it but the VN itself is very highly praised.

It almost feels like joe is playing on a set seed on his streaming career with every game already having their set joke and bits from the start
an amazing way to describe it
so much of this lines up that if it wasn't a preplanned bit, joe nagito lucked himself into the perfect timeline
Wait it was a preplanned bit?! I am legit disappointed
a cut that lets viewers compare three sprite versions and two joe versions? amazing concept, bravo
Actually really interesting psychological behavior study.

Beatrice! My life is yours! All I ask is that you allow me to catch a live Umineko stream, even just once!
UMINEKO SATURDAY BAYBEEE!
You have approximately 2 years worth of Saturdays to free up at least one
I’m holding a big foam finger that says umineko while watching this
wearing a big umineko hat while drinking from soda cans on the side of the hat through a large straw
JOE IS STUCK IN A TIME LOOP OF THE START OF UMINEKO
watching this live and remembering Joe’s past comments felt surreal and like perhaps the mandala effect was the friends we made along the way
The "Joe on repeat" section had me wheezing, it's kind of impressive how consistent he is. Can't wait for the next leap year's repeat section.
That was fun. See you guys again in a few years!
This sunday you mean!
This sunday on saturday!
He morbed his future leap year self to stream the next Umineko stream. (Unlike this one, where he morbed his past 2024 self instead)
1:27:05 As a person who has played Umineko, he's at like 30% of ep1.
Now imagine the Persona 5 Royal playthrough
Genuinely thought it was a joke that he was going to stream this before next leap year
Joe just used the audio from the first stream and overlayed the mod 🤣
I used to think the old sprites were fine, and I thought the new ones looked about the same. Then I saw the original sprites again and I almost gagged.
@@crunchyburger7 the new one suck
it's like I'm experiencing two different timelines
this edit is so good
Two umimimir
Now Joe can pronounce Ushiromiya, he has evolved as a weeb
God it's so good. Thanks avarisi
THANK YOU

Donated enough that Joe has the pronunciation of your name written on a post-it note at his computer next to the names of the Persona 3 waifus
Umineko is eternal, present and past Joe know 🗿
We are so fucking back.
This video is proof that the Mandella effect is real
Soul Vs Soul
Soul of Soul
this is amazing
9:35 classic moment
how does he do it lmao
Weird seeing the fact I caught both streams sometimes. It's weird seeing my name in a video like this. Cool as hell though, UMINEKOOOOO
Oathbreaker!
Wait. Do we know how/when he was convinced to take another crack at Umineko?
+2 title
Aw man, this doesn't cover the new plot?
Are you going to do the next streams of umineko too? Love your edits

Hahaha!!!! I was there!!!!! I'm the coolest i know
I've gotta ask, will this get me up to speed on all the memes and story of Umineko or should I just go all in on watching the VODs?
