꽃제비란?: 북한에서 일정한 거주지 없이 떠돌아다니며 먹을 것을 찾아 헤매는 떠돌이 아동들을 지칭하는 말입니다. 이 단어는 러시아어에서 유랑인을 뜻하는 ‘꼬체비예(떠돌이)’에서 유래하였습니다.
애니메이션 "꽃제비"는 북한 꽃제비 아이들이 처한 인권 유린의 현실과 그들이 자유를 찾아 대한민국에 정착하기까지의 여정을 그린 작품입니다.

What is "Kotjebi"?:
"Kotjebi" refers to children in North Korea who have no fixed residence and roam around in search of food. The term originates from the Russian word kochyebiye, meaning "wanderer."
The animation "Kotjebi" portrays the harsh reality of human rights violations faced by North Korean shelterless children and their journey to freedom as they settle in South Korea.
Eun-joo, Ki-cheol, and Hyuk, who grow up without parents, rely on one another and form a family-like bond. Witness their courageous steps toward freedom and uncover the harsh realities of North Korean child rights violations through their moving story.
