The Green Door is a "gateway" hidden inside all Gamma Mutates like Hulk and Abomination. All these doors lead to the Below Place, where One Below All resides. And it uses these doors to influence events.

The lore of this game, while really interesting, is very complex and all over the place, so the way you're able to tell it in an understandable way is super impressive!
Normally… I’m not too big a fan of the multiverse/timeline concept because Hollywood has milked it for all its worth. But when I started playing Marvel Rivals… They actually made it fun and entertaining! 🤩
@Osuchin I said it before and I'll say it again, this could've been the MCUs multiverse Saga if they played their cards right! The multiverse Is at risk of falling apart, Doom seems pretty clever and intimidating, and you have various other villains causing chaos at the same time. It wouldn't be on the same level, but they definitely could've pulled this off
Season 4 really felt like it was left incomplete. From the season skins not being released in time, to all the suggestions about the eighth city being a map, to daredevil wanting to take the sword from iron fist. I really thought that s4 would be the one they'd give the most love to, being Chinese themed and all that. Maybe it was the one that got affected with the change from 3 to 2 months seasons. Bc s5 feels like just filler so they can restructure and do things better from now on
Seasons have been ready for at least a year before they were released. Besides, on the lore it states the S4 tournament was interrumped by the events occurring on S5, so it was intentional. Idk about the skins part though.
I feel the same way and making this video really made me realize just how much lore was really not there. Like Seasons 0-3 I had so much lore, MVPs, gallery cards, so much to use. But most of Season 4 and 5, I hardly had anything other than character stories. Hopefully we return to the Heart of Heaven and get more in the future.

Yeah I think taking the "break" from Season 4 to 5, wasnt the move. Season 3 was the best example of what a season should be like. Story, Battlepass, Everything. Like I get it, the events of Season 5 are occuring at the same time as the events of Season 4. But I personally would rather have experienced the entire K'un L'un Theme. Like Season 5 shoulda been the Shenloong Tournament, but we probably wont see that till Season 7 at the earliest.
I agree with practically everything that you’ve said, except I wouldn’t call season 5 a filler season per say, as it feels a lot more complete compared to season 4. Season 5 has it’s own events and storyline which even gets somewhat of a conclusion, whilst still being further continued in season 6. I wouldn’t say the same about season 4 - as while I still like it’s story - It’s ending felt rather underwhelming as it really didn’t have a proper ending. It seems like they already had this season and It’s story planned out before the change to 2 month seasons, as it felt like the second patch would have been the tournament. But yeah I understand what your trying to say still. Also, is it just me who preferred 3 month seasons? As seen with recent seasons, the dev team simply don’t have enough time to make 2 maps a season; which then makes some seasons feel hollow and incomplete (like with season 4). We can’t get stories as good and complex as the ones that we’ve been getting up till this point, because the concept of 2 month seasons demands that the story or location must be revisited another time, or in another season. Rivals for sure has more resources now than they’d had before, so future 3 month seasons would still be refreshing enough to keep players interested. I could go on about the benefits of 3 month seasons, but I’ve already said a ‘yapton’ lmao.

So much information in this video for a person like me who is attracted by and addicted to the game but not growing up watching any Marvel series movie or comic book, but really interesting lore and narration as well as the video.

Wow, congrats, man, that must've been an enormous undertaking! I try to read all the lore, but it was really nice hearing it laid out chronologically like that (it can become quite jumbled in-gamed due to weird order of unlocking).

There were a few details I wished were added like: - Adam's reawakening, speaking with Odin & Knull - Strange & Scarlet's conversation before she saved him. (which would have explained the how [her being Sorceress Supreme of the collapsed Timeline] or why [to get it for herself like Strange & Khonshu were trying to] she did that,) - Venom in Limbo before arriving to Klyntar - Rocket almost dying on Klyntar - The added context of Blade vs Hela - How Knull almost lost to Phoenix and Witch BEFORE he finally obtained the Necrosword (he didn't get it instantly after he was freed) I get leaving out certain details when covering the entire story, but these details felt significant enough to the general plot at their respective moments. Either way, this video is STILL fantastic. Thumbs up for sure and Thank you, please keep up the great work!
I appreciate that! Thank you! These are details that I will be covering in my Season Specific Overviews though! Which are going to be far more in-depth using Character Lore, Gallery Cards, Loading Screens, Ect. Sadly with a massive overview like this covering six different seasons, some stuff just has to get cut for time. There are lore videos out there that are hours long covering extremely in depth detail on this specific topic, and I didn't want to be another one. I always aim to cover all the important details while still keeping around 30-40ish minutes. I can say though that most of the details you listed, were in my initial script, but were cut for time at the end. :) I also have plans, if the community wants it, where after I post each individual Season Specific Overview, I will combine them all into one video, regardless of time. Since I do know some people like those hour-or-so long videos. But that will be down the road a bit as I need to first knock out each season :)
Ohhhhh so that was the outcome for the end of season 2. I had a hard time to find which ending of the map and which one was canon. As I thought the Doom on that ending erased not only the island but Mars itself. So glad we got that clarification. Also we probably seen what that dream Blade had thanks to the pajama skin he now has. And how he was clearly fighting off a god in his dreams just to keep his vampiric side since he still needs his abilities to fight in this multiverseal war. And thank you for this, as a quick recap of the seasons so far clearly shows how much the plot is really moving, and how it bleeds into the next season. They took their time to actually make a plot line that if you were a lore nerd who was disappointed in Overwatch's plot slowing to nonexistence, this one feels like we truly are seeing snippets of the greater plot at hand. How much thought they put into things that makes sense, and even now, we could end up saying how Season 4 and Season 5 are happening at the same time considering how the major characters at play could fit in that. So hopefully we will make a return trip to the heavenly cities and see it to completion after Season 6.
I am certain that Knull isnt dead, he is a literal God as old as time. As long as darkness exists, Knull will Live on and lurk, just waiting to rise once more.
@Osuchin yeah exactly, as long as the void exists and darkness crawls, knull will return. But he got nuked by a big load of Vitamin D, so he most certainly will take a while to get back, and it takes a WAY longer time to achieve fullpower again

It's just a matter of people who weren't innitial marvel fans getting confused since they only maybe watched two mcu movies and hop from new trending game to new trending game .
@OsuchinI'm aware but the season doesn’t really explore much like the other 3 season. I mean in season 3 Blade & Phoenix play pivotal role against Knull and Hela. Season 4 was explore the tournament but it was canceled.
Yeah I think Season 4 in general just didn't explore its story enough. Season 4 acts more like Season 0 in the sense that it is setting up for another season. Similar to how we havent actually concluded the stories of Yggsgard, Tokyo 2099, Spider Islands, or Hydra from Season 0. The only things that really happened in Season 4 was announcing a tournament would happen and champions would be chosen, and thats it. Season five should have been the second part of the story imo.

No the phoenix force survived. Jean (The Host) died and typically goes to the White Hot Room, where she is reborn through the Phoenix Force. The Pheonix Force was still present, which is why you see it swoop in and save Jean in the last few moments after the quantum swap.
I see alot of people with this take, but I personally don't think the two dooms should be playable. I could get behind a Doom Bot or another Multiverse Doom that is a good guy variant. But not Rivals Doom or Rivals Doom 2099, as they are the key antagonists of the game. It just wouldnt make sense lore wise for them to be playable.
Their alignment isn’t really the issue. It’s that they’re both the main antagonists, the anchors that hold the story together as main villains and manipulators. I just don’t think either of the Rivals Dooms should be playable. But I’m open to a doom bot or third variant, just not the main two.

updated lore: lowkey i don’t know it all but deadpool ended up in the collectors gallery and broke out elsa to help him escape and i think he was trying to save someone there but i don’t know some rich/lucky person will prob reply to this with the correct info.
Well that is all Season Six, which is the start of 2026, which is why its not in this video. And this video was posted almost a week before early access for Season Six started. But anyways, Deadpool was working for the collector ever since the Timestream Entanglement spat him out at the Grand Garden. He was the one who captured people from different timelines such as Jeff and Psylocke, moments before their timelines were destroyed by the entanglement. When Rogue and Gambit broke into the Collector's Museum, Deadpool betrayed the collector and decided to help his Xmen friends escape. So he released a bunch of the captive monsters and creatures within the museum, meanwhile Elsa is still working for the collector is hunting Deadpool, Gambit and Rogue.

I hope some day we get another season where Ultron is the main villain. Just is odd to make the multiverse stuff gave one version being erased meaning he’s gone forever. Honestly I can see some returns to make other npc characters playable.
@Osuchinyeah I don’t even think we need lore reasons. Also I wouldn’t mind a season villain infinity ultron with a legendary variant of it. Make it seperate and has stuff like his lance shooting lasers.
I have to disagree, I think the lore aspects of this game are crucially important. It’s what makes Marvel well, Marvel. They go through a tremendous effort to have accurate and consistent lore that ties within the gameplay itself. Characters like that would break that imo.
I may have missed it but is Hela still imprisoned after the events of season 3? If so how is she playable? Would it be correct to assume the Hela we play as is before the events of season 3? It would be interesting if they implemented some way to “temporarily” keep a character away if they are trapped somewhere. Like they just aren’t available yet but end up returning in a different season if that makes sense. Excellent video! This was really well done!
Technically Season 4’s story was never concluded. The tournament didn’t even happen yet, so she is still in the Eighth City. She is still playable because “Multiverse” rules, and because our gameplay isn’t locked to specific seasons. Since we can still play on maps from Previous seasons that are dealing with previous story arcs as well. Same reason you can have Daredevil fighting vampires in midtown, even thought he wasn’t there in Season 1 lol

I typically aim for 30-40mins at max. I think there’s a place for long drawn out videos that are in extreme detail, but most stuff can be summarized with key details in 30mins or less :)
Most of the lore is within Gallery Cards, Character Pages, Collectible Pages, and other minor references such as loading screens and what not. There isnt an official lore website at this point in time, but there are wiki pages for Rivals Lore (though theyre not always accurate) and of course channels like mine, where we break it all down.
I’m going to throw a shot in the dark in what season 7 is going to be for Lore. Sooo after Deadpool and Elsa have been done helping Rogue and Gambit Escape Gambit finds the real contract that Game master wanted only problem is someone else got their hands on it first before Gambit. But who you may ask? Well ofc Black Cat working as a double agent not stealing the contract for The Game Master but for Mephisto and just in time because the Hellfire gala is about to begin and it’s best not to keep the devil waiting…… (Idk why Mephisto would hire black cat it’s just that she was teased at the end of the season lol also Hellfire Gala is supposed to come back next season sooo yeah)
I talked about Season Seven in my most recent teased heroes videos. Its likely going to be a story focused around New York as the Kingpin has apparently put the entire city on Lockdown.

Ive said this many times, but I dont agree. Theyre key story antagonists, lore wise it wouldnt make sense for them to join the roster and fight alongside the heroes. I could get behind a Doom Bot or A third alternate "good guy" Doom but not the two in the story.
When the game first launched, I had similar notions. But I don't really agree with that much anymore. Characters like Dracula, Knull, Doom, and Doom 2099, just wouldn't make sense lore wise. Their status as villains are too high imo compared to other villains like Hela, Loki, Ultron, Ect. I think there are some characters that are just limited to being Narrative Antagonists due to the overall strength or pure evil status such as Dracula, Knull, and Doom, but there are some Villain characters that can be a season antagonist but converted to helping the hero factions such as Ultron, Emma Frost, Kingpin, Kraven, Mysterio, Ect.

Althought I watched all the video and paid attention, I'm pretty new to MR and everything so I wanted to ask... were they all transported at the same time, and then the events of the seasons happened??
You know what i like about Daredevils plot? If you know about Spider-Man's personal issues you'll notice in "the long road back" how Matt hits Peter with his deal with Mephisto. LORD even in an F2P we can't get away from Joe Quesada's bulls**t One More Day.
I think that conversation reveals something even deeper that we don't know about the Rivals Peter. That conversation and his reaction confirms that Rivals Peter has something he regrets, something weighing heavy on him, and we know its not a deal with Mephisto. So he has something dark in his past that has yet to be revealed. I also find it interesting how the Peter of Daredevil's World made a deal with Mephisto to save his marriage and daughter, which is actually quite opposite of One More Day, where he sacrificed his marriage for Aunt May. I like that they made that subtle difference, even though it doesn't matter in the long run because Daredevil's Spidey just isnt relevant in the bigger picture of the lore, just a cool trinket to connect us more to DD's world.
This might be a stretch, and honestly, my own opinion. But couldn't it be possible that the reason why the K'un L'un storyline in season 4 never got a conclusion is that we don't know who Doom might choose as a champion? I mean, we know the champions of the immortal beasts, and yet no mention of who would be Doom's champion. As I said, it might be a stretch and my own opinion. Edit: Doom could have a backup since he'd be an idiot to trust Loki.
Doom's Champion is Loki. When he said he was going to have his own Champion fight for him, he was referring to Loki, which is why he sought him out and made the deal with him and helped Loki infiltrate the tournament. Hopefully we return to K'un L'un in a future season to see how the tournament story ended!
So from what I'm getting at, "The Hand" is heavily implied to be worshipping Mephisto, with how Spider-Man says "that Beast", the fact he's among the victims who died first, and the fact MJ and his future Daughter got killed too? It all adds up especially since 616 Mephisto is hell bent on screwing with 616 Spider-Man is because in the future the only hero who survived and puts and end to his reign on earth is non other...THAN PETE'S DAUGHTER HERSELF.
I genuinely don't know where you come up with that assessment, but no, that is completely wrong. The Hand in Rivals does not worship Mephisto, they worship "The Beast" which is the same Primordial Entity they worship in the comics and other media. When Spidey says, "Oh Right, That Beast" he's dropping his comedic relief moment and acknowledging the serious tone of their conversation about the same beast that once possessed Daredevil, that Spidey and a bunch of street level heroes fought against during the Shadowland Story arc. There is absolutely no connection or mention or reference to Mephisto *except* for when Daredevil says that *his* spiderman made a deal with him to save his marriage and daughter, which is a nod to the One More Day Storyline, but is completely different. Because in the Main 616 timeline, Peter didnt have his daughter, he traded his marriage to save Aunt May. A completely different deal and situation. The Rivals Peter has not made any deals with Mephisto that we are aware off based off that interaction with Daredevil, so this is something he hasnt experienced. Rivals Spidey was even shocked to hear the alternate version of himself had a daughter. The mention of Mephisto was merely to be a cool nod/easter egg reference to the One More Day Storyline. Thats it.

Been playing Rivals off and on from the beginning and had no clue there was a big story happening, this makes the game so much better 😂

There were a few details I wished were added like:
- Adam's reawakening, speaking with Odin & Knull
- Strange & Scarlet's conversation before she saved him. (which would have explained the how [her being Sorceress Supreme of the collapsed Timeline] or why [to get it for herself like Strange & Khonshu were trying to] she did that,)
- Venom in Limbo before arriving to Klyntar
- Rocket almost dying on Klyntar
- The added context of Blade vs Hela
- How Knull almost lost to Phoenix and Witch BEFORE he finally obtained the Necrosword (he didn't get it instantly after he was freed)
I get leaving out certain details when covering the entire story, but these details felt significant enough to the general plot at their respective moments.

I appreciate that! Thank you! These are details that I will be covering in my Season Specific Overviews though! Which are going to be far more in-depth using Character Lore, Gallery Cards, Loading Screens, Ect. Sadly with a massive overview like this covering six different seasons, some stuff just has to get cut for time. There are lore videos out there that are hours long covering extremely in depth detail on this specific topic, and I didn't want to be another one. I always aim to cover all the important details while still keeping around 30-40ish minutes.
I can say though that most of the details you listed, were in my initial script, but were cut for time at the end. :)
I also have plans, if the community wants it, where after I post each individual Season Specific Overview, I will combine them all into one video, regardless of time. Since I do know some people like those hour-or-so long videos. But that will be down the road a bit as I need to first knock out each season :)

Ohhhhh so that was the outcome for the end of season 2. I had a hard time to find which ending of the map and which one was canon. As I thought the Doom on that ending erased not only the island but Mars itself. So glad we got that clarification.
Also we probably seen what that dream Blade had thanks to the pajama skin he now has. And how he was clearly fighting off a god in his dreams just to keep his vampiric side since he still needs his abilities to fight in this multiverseal war.
And thank you for this, as a quick recap of the seasons so far clearly shows how much the plot is really moving, and how it bleeds into the next season. They took their time to actually make a plot line that if you were a lore nerd who was disappointed in Overwatch's plot slowing to nonexistence, this one feels like we truly are seeing snippets of the greater plot at hand. How much thought they put into things that makes sense, and even now, we could end up saying how Season 4 and Season 5 are happening at the same time considering how the major characters at play could fit in that. So hopefully we will make a return trip to the heavenly cities and see it to completion after Season 6.
I think season 7 will take us back to The heavenly cities.

It's just a matter of people who weren't innitial marvel fans getting confused since they only maybe watched two mcu movies and hop from new trending game to new trending game .

@OsuchinI'm aware but the season doesn’t really explore much like the other 3 season. I mean in season 3 Blade & Phoenix play pivotal role against Knull and Hela. Season 4 was explore the tournament but it was canceled.
Yeah I think Season 4 in general just didn't explore its story enough. Season 4 acts more like Season 0 in the sense that it is setting up for another season. Similar to how we havent actually concluded the stories of Yggsgard, Tokyo 2099, Spider Islands, or Hydra from Season 0. The only things that really happened in Season 4 was announcing a tournament would happen and champions would be chosen, and thats it. Season five should have been the second part of the story imo.
@OsuchinI'm just saying, outside how cool Daredevil, there really nothing interesting of season 4. It might as well be filler
Hopefully we see more in a future season when we return!

No the phoenix force survived. Jean (The Host) died and typically goes to the White Hot Room, where she is reborn through the Phoenix Force. The Pheonix Force was still present, which is why you see it swoop in and save Jean in the last few moments after the quantum swap.

I see alot of people with this take, but I personally don't think the two dooms should be playable. I could get behind a Doom Bot or another Multiverse Doom that is a good guy variant. But not Rivals Doom or Rivals Doom 2099, as they are the key antagonists of the game. It just wouldnt make sense lore wise for them to be playable.
@Osuchinwhy they don't have to be good to be playable though Hela and Loki are examples and Ultron should have been one if not for sophisticated lore
Their alignment isn’t really the issue. It’s that they’re both the main antagonists, the anchors that hold the story together as main villains and manipulators. I just don’t think either of the Rivals Dooms should be playable. But I’m open to a doom bot or third variant, just not the main two.

updated lore: lowkey i don’t know it all but deadpool ended up in the collectors gallery and broke out elsa to help him escape and i think he was trying to save someone there but i don’t know some rich/lucky person will prob reply to this with the correct info.
Well that is all Season Six, which is the start of 2026, which is why its not in this video. And this video was posted almost a week before early access for Season Six started. But anyways, Deadpool was working for the collector ever since the Timestream Entanglement spat him out at the Grand Garden. He was the one who captured people from different timelines such as Jeff and Psylocke, moments before their timelines were destroyed by the entanglement. When Rogue and Gambit broke into the Collector's Museum, Deadpool betrayed the collector and decided to help his Xmen friends escape. So he released a bunch of the captive monsters and creatures within the museum, meanwhile Elsa is still working for the collector is hunting Deadpool, Gambit and Rogue.

I hope some day we get another season where Ultron is the main villain. Just is odd to make the multiverse stuff gave one version being erased meaning he’s gone forever. Honestly I can see some returns to make other npc characters playable.
I'm not sure they'll revisit Ultron specifically. But I do hope we see some more Villains turned "good" for the Roster in the future!
@Osuchinyeah I don’t even think we need lore reasons. Also I wouldn’t mind a season villain infinity ultron with a legendary variant of it. Make it seperate and has stuff like his lance shooting lasers.
I have to disagree, I think the lore aspects of this game are crucially important. It’s what makes Marvel well, Marvel. They go through a tremendous effort to have accurate and consistent lore that ties within the gameplay itself. Characters like that would break that imo.

I may have missed it but is Hela still imprisoned after the events of season 3? If so how is she playable? Would it be correct to assume the Hela we play as is before the events of season 3? It would be interesting if they implemented some way to “temporarily” keep a character away if they are trapped somewhere. Like they just aren’t available yet but end up returning in a different season if that makes sense. Excellent video! This was really well done!
Technically Season 4’s story was never concluded. The tournament didn’t even happen yet, so she is still in the Eighth City. She is still playable because “Multiverse” rules, and because our gameplay isn’t locked to specific seasons. Since we can still play on maps from
Previous seasons that are dealing with previous story arcs as well. Same reason you can have Daredevil fighting vampires in midtown, even thought he wasn’t there in Season 1 lol

I typically aim for 30-40mins at max. I think there’s a place for long drawn out videos that are in extreme detail, but most stuff can be summarized with key details in 30mins or less :)

I'm a new player and i want to follow the history but i dont know how
Most of the lore is within Gallery Cards, Character Pages, Collectible Pages, and other minor references such as loading screens and what not. There isnt an official lore website at this point in time, but there are wiki pages for Rivals Lore (though theyre not always accurate) and of course channels like mine, where we break it all down.
I’m going to throw a shot in the dark in what season 7 is going to be for Lore. Sooo after Deadpool and Elsa have been done helping Rogue and Gambit Escape Gambit finds the real contract that Game master wanted only problem is someone else got their hands on it first before Gambit. But who you may ask? Well ofc Black Cat working as a double agent not stealing the contract for The Game Master but for Mephisto and just in time because the Hellfire gala is about to begin and it’s best not to keep the devil waiting…… (Idk why Mephisto would hire black cat it’s just that she was teased at the end of the season lol also Hellfire Gala is supposed to come back next season sooo yeah)
I talked about Season Seven in my most recent teased heroes videos. Its likely going to be a story focused around New York as the Kingpin has apparently put the entire city on Lockdown.

Need playable doctor doom in Marvel Rivals, there are two dooms fighting right? Both of them need to be playable.
Ive said this many times, but I dont agree. Theyre key story antagonists, lore wise it wouldnt make sense for them to join the roster and fight alongside the heroes. I could get behind a Doom Bot or A third alternate "good guy" Doom but not the two in the story.
Dracula and knull should've been playable
When the game first launched, I had similar notions. But I don't really agree with that much anymore. Characters like Dracula, Knull, Doom, and Doom 2099, just wouldn't make sense lore wise. Their status as villains are too high imo compared to other villains like Hela, Loki, Ultron, Ect. I think there are some characters that are just limited to being Narrative Antagonists due to the overall strength or pure evil status such as Dracula, Knull, and Doom, but there are some Villain characters that can be a season antagonist but converted to helping the hero factions such as Ultron, Emma Frost, Kingpin, Kraven, Mysterio, Ect.
they NEED to add doom, especially when his so envolved in the story, id like him as a vanguard sheild/brawler

The timestream entanglement ripped across the entire multiverse at the same time. Some timelines collided, some merged, some were destroyed, Ect

You know what i like about Daredevils plot? If you know about Spider-Man's personal issues you'll notice in "the long road back" how Matt hits Peter with his deal with Mephisto.
LORD even in an F2P we can't get away from Joe Quesada's bulls**t One More Day.
I think that conversation reveals something even deeper that we don't know about the Rivals Peter. That conversation and his reaction confirms that Rivals Peter has something he regrets, something weighing heavy on him, and we know its not a deal with Mephisto. So he has something dark in his past that has yet to be revealed. I also find it interesting how the Peter of Daredevil's World made a deal with Mephisto to save his marriage and daughter, which is actually quite opposite of One More Day, where he sacrificed his marriage for Aunt May. I like that they made that subtle difference, even though it doesn't matter in the long run because Daredevil's Spidey just isnt relevant in the bigger picture of the lore, just a cool trinket to connect us more to DD's world.
This might be a stretch, and honestly, my own opinion. But couldn't it be possible that the reason why the K'un L'un storyline in season 4 never got a conclusion is that we don't know who Doom might choose as a champion? I mean, we know the champions of the immortal beasts, and yet no mention of who would be Doom's champion. As I said, it might be a stretch and my own opinion. Edit: Doom could have a backup since he'd be an idiot to trust Loki.
Doom's Champion is Loki. When he said he was going to have his own Champion fight for him, he was referring to Loki, which is why he sought him out and made the deal with him and helped Loki infiltrate the tournament. Hopefully we return to K'un L'un in a future season to see how the tournament story ended!

So from what I'm getting at, "The Hand" is heavily implied to be worshipping Mephisto, with how Spider-Man says "that Beast", the fact he's among the victims who died first, and the fact MJ and his future Daughter got killed too? It all adds up especially since 616 Mephisto is hell bent on screwing with 616 Spider-Man is because in the future the only hero who survived and puts and end to his reign on earth is non other...THAN PETE'S DAUGHTER HERSELF.
I genuinely don't know where you come up with that assessment, but no, that is completely wrong. The Hand in Rivals does not worship Mephisto, they worship "The Beast" which is the same Primordial Entity they worship in the comics and other media. When Spidey says, "Oh Right, That Beast" he's dropping his comedic relief moment and acknowledging the serious tone of their conversation about the same beast that once possessed Daredevil, that Spidey and a bunch of street level heroes fought against during the Shadowland Story arc. There is absolutely no connection or mention or reference to Mephisto *except* for when Daredevil says that *his* spiderman made a deal with him to save his marriage and daughter, which is a nod to the One More Day Storyline, but is completely different. Because in the Main 616 timeline, Peter didnt have his daughter, he traded his marriage to save Aunt May. A completely different deal and situation. The Rivals Peter has not made any deals with Mephisto that we are aware off based off that interaction with Daredevil, so this is something he hasnt experienced. Rivals Spidey was even shocked to hear the alternate version of himself had a daughter.
The mention of Mephisto was merely to be a cool nod/easter egg reference to the One More Day Storyline. Thats it.
I wish they removed characters for parts of seasons. As if they need to be rescued or something. Could be cool edit: start with widow
