This has to be one of the best Catskill style tutorials on RUclips. The importance of the wing cut to tail method to the overall body shape.. the non judgement of the alternative methods.. plus the discussion the pitfalls and while also showing precision in each method.. absolutely fantastic thank you for this!
Detail, detail, & detail; excellent content and reinforced for knowledge transfer,it is old school sharing and well worth the time to observe and learn.
Nick great tutorial on tying wood duck! I was looking at your tying video for Quill Gordon and needed to understand better tying the wood duck on. So helpful.
Thanks Nick. This os a really useful and well presented clip I. scared of Catskill wings-I love their look and have only tried the twice. Fumbling everywhere I will try again. :-)
Buy a skin, i got one for $35 but today they sell for $95 plus wings… Practice with the discolored and misshapen feathers first before attempting with the pretty feathers.
