I am a “ribbon dancer” but the official name for it is rhythmic gymnastics. You don’t just do dancing with a ribbon , you do it with a hoop, ball, clubs
(Which are 2 stick like things with rubber at the end) and a ribbon and sometimes a 2-3 feet rope! You do a routine with acro, spins/turns and flexibility! I still Appreciate that she included it cause every person I have ever met has never known what rhythmic gymnastics is! I hope it because well known one day! It is a truly beautiful sport!

I think one of things that makes her so relatable is the fact that whilst she takes what she does incredibly seriously she seem to be incapable of taking herself overly seriously and seems very grounded and has not bought into the hype. That and the grace and class with which she deports herself are a credit to her and the way she was raised. If I had daughters I can think of no finer role model in this celebrity obsessed world...

Some people just dance with a ribbon but not do gymnastics. I would break a hip bone. But yeah, in the video it looks like gymnastic moves. I'm not a gymnast, so yeah. Either way, I enjoy watching both.
@@YACABE I would assume that people who just dance with ribbons wouldn’t be using professional ribbons from brands SASAKI and Charcott and Jassy which are pretty expensive. And also considering that the “dancers” they invited were on the USA national team... hmm ribbon dancers. But either way, I’m not offended when Taylor called them ribbon dancers.
She's so darn pretty. Her face is flawless, fine traits, soft skin, great hair, slim tall frame. Everything just fits her perfectly. She should do some modeling, clothes were definitely made for her to wear them. And her recent make up also suits her, red lips, slick black eyeliner and straight hair to shapen your face. This is called RHYTMIC GYMNASTICS! In Rhymtic gymnastics you have 5 different aparatus: ball, hoop, rope, clubs and ribbon. These girls are rhytmic gymnasts! Not ribbon dancer!! They need to call thing by their name!

It's called Rhythmic Gymnastics, I know, I do it! There's ball, ribbon, rope, hoop, clubs, and floor, and in fact some of the girls in this video I've seen in competition and know, so there you have it. And yes, it's a sport (it's in the Olympics) and it combines ballet/dance with gymnastics and has apparatus handling :)

I think Taylor should have at least attempted to do one good dance move even if it was just for the outtake. It seemed she could be able to do it. I think this dance can be given easy moves compared to the other style she featured. Anyways I love Taylor and I'm glad she had so much fun filming this!
