Beautiful. I love watching these concrete artists. Does anyone know why he cut the bamboo up in the water and then removed it and drained the entire thing? Does the bamboo leech toxins out of the cement or something? At first I thought maybe it was to release tannins into the water to help it somehow but then he drained it. Typically you should let a pond or tank Age for s month or so before you add fish.
Yes it is. It absorb and lowers the pH level of the water, removes toxins and odors from cement. It's Banana tree btw. Very Usefull and cheap trick for new Koi pond

On me dit que le ciment seul ne fonctionne pas pour un bassin car Ph trop élevé pour les poissons et des fissures avec le temps. Mais à mon avis tu as de l'expérience....

I have a big pond made from cement its fine... well after being freshly made people usually just wash it first, fill the water and put a lot of banana leaf and in the next couple days drain it

Q: where is the overflow-hole? Q: why no pebbles on the bottom? This will give a lot of benefits (softer for their skin, gives them something to do, assists in creating good bacteria, waterinsectz can live there).
