the scene when baek heesung stood up from the chair is so terrifying. I get goosebumps everytime i saw that scene. there should be horror tag for this show😂

Kim Ji Hoon is such an amazing actor man. He plays such an amazing villain, not only in this, but in Ballerina and Death's game as well. It's like he was made for these kinda roles

Actually I did consider Baek Hee Sung’s mother is a good person. She just didn’t know what to do and go along with the father. There’s a scene in earlier episode where she threw Eunha’s book when she was doing math, and it was because Heesung used to be a math genius. So, she might scared Eunha turned to be like her son
Oh, is that what that was about? I thought it was her unhinged way of preventing Eun Ha from trying too hard or being pushed too hard since she was doing something above her age level
but she end up covering his son crimes so she is an accomplice

I got to know about the actual accomplice at episode 10 when Yeom Seong Cheol mentions that the accomplice had been inactive for so many years. That is when it clicked that a psychopath would not stop committing the crimes if he was healthy enough. That is what being a psycho means. They do not stop unless they are physically restrained. So that ruled out the dad for me.
The moment he gets up from his wheelchair was absolutely expected, but still, in the moment, I was screaming at my screen before that for the woman to RUN FOR HER LIFE. Girl, you do not do that in a house that harbours a psychopath.
Both Lee Joon Gi and Kim Ji Hoon literally shone in this show...
Lee Joon Gi literally amazed me, even when he was saying, "I love you" in this episode, he never went out of his character, bawling his eyes out or showing too much emotion in his eyes. It was just the right amount.
Also, what is to come is just 💋 This show continued to amaze me till the end. Even the most cliché plot points were shown the most unhackneyed way in this kdrama. Props to the director also, for literally blowing our minds with such a class apart show.
PS - A family that kills together goes down together 😂

I was also like "oh my god, stop talking (signing)! You are so gonna die". Like seriously, if you suspect this family is unhinged or shady or dangerous, why would you backmail or threaten them? But honestly, I think Hee Seong would've killed her regardless because he was always mistrustful of her. Even if she didn't threaten the mom; just her quitting would've been enough for him.
Hee Seong is crazy manipulative. Even after he killed the maid, he made it seem as if he was just doing it to protect his mom and then the mom cosings it.
His parents are such enablers

I think I keep forgetting how the father thinks this facade would work. Like people knew and saw Hyeon Su as his son for like 16 years! Hyeon Su has a family of his own.
How would he play off that Hee Seong was just studying/working abroad while someone else was living as him WHILE interacting with his parents?
It's like he just keeps ignoring the reality that Hyeon Su now has attachments and isn't *as* expendable as he wants him to be.
