Abeloth is not a villain that you just randomly use in a single season of some show. Its an absolutely universe-threating tier of villain which should be reserved as a primary villain of a FILM series if at all. There is no way in hell you can have a satisfying conflict and resolution with such an entity in the span of a few episodes.
Why would u assume it would end like that? Aboloth is prolly gonna win and escape Paridea I’m not gonna judge a show for something that might not be true or that we haven’t seen play out if aboloth does come she’s definitely surviving and going to other shows and movies
I would love to see a video about who can lead after Kennedys reign ends within the next 5 years. Because while filoni is knowledgeable we can do better
Y"all here complaining as if the Sequel trilogy wasn't the worst thing to ever come out. At least mandoverse does characters justice and has solid continuity. Bring it on Dave dont listen to the haters !!!!!!
considering the empty dialogue with Anakin flashbacks in last GirlPower Season, have absolute zero trust with new Ahsoka script writers. Besides they write plot armors so thick that even Thrawn is made look like typical total Imperial baddie imbecile (full star destroyer barrage and platoons of troopers fail to stop 'them' just walzing in), there is no threat no danger and most likely just butchering fan loved characters even more with bad writing and dialogue and "i win by pure luck" plot.
I'm honestly so tired of Filoni's brand of storytelling. His direction in animation is solid but his writing is just as convoluted as Lucas's if not moreso. The only difference is that Lucas's writers room was able to help him dial it back a bit. The only person we've really seen directly correct Filoni is Sam Witwer, who has such a deep reverence and knowledge of the lore that Dave seems to disregard because it doesn't play nice with his OC from TCW.
His oc except Lucas created her. And who cares either way she has more history and a better character arch than most characters in Star Wars history. Even in her show she was still evolving and changing that’s the whole reason she had her final lesson with anakin to get over the trauma and become more light hearted like she did after she came back from the world between worlds. U act like him wanting her to keep changing and evolve is somehow a bad thing
The quality of the Kenobi show was awful, however, it still has some of the highest viewership numbers of any D+ Star Wars. So yes, in that way, it was very successful.
@@kaygee2121that doesn’t mean anything. Back then people were still excited for Star Wars, it’s cause of shows like kenobi that people don’t care anymore. Such a bad show.

Yeah, but where the hell is Luke Skywalker? You know- Anakin's son? Hero of the first trilogy? The dude who brought the Jedi back from extinction? Filoni is a mediocre hack at best. He's always been in lockstep with his Dictator-Queen, Kathleen Kennedy, and has obediently kept Luke out of the picture, as per her command. But hey, there's plenty of witches and wolves! Just what every space opera needs.
Well considering Lucas loved the witches I think they fit right in and wtf are u talking abt Luke did come back and is most likely gonna be in the thrawn movie, y’all complain abt cameos then get mad when someone who doesn’t fit in the story of the show isn’t their. And don’t blame him for the comics fucking up and saying luke wasn’t involved in the new republic even though people complain abt him retconning stupid shit like that. U know nothing at all
For me I couldn’t get excited if it’s still Dave Faloni writing the show alone, we saw his writing and it was inconsistent and mostly awful, and the directing was absolutely stiff with the performances. If he has 12 episodes and they are actually 40-50 minutes and he gets a more experienced writer to assist him then I might be more optimistic but if it’s just Faloni alone like the first below average season then meh
I mean with aksoka it relys heavily on watching the shows that came before it which is probably why it wasn't received the best by people who didn't watch the previous shows. Its more of a bad decision more than anything
@@ledinyourwallsI get that but at the same time I mean u wouldn’t watch tales of the Jedi before watching the movies. Either way I just don’t want the entire first episode to be just recapping stuff.
Mara Jade, the padawan of Master Kyle Katarn and the Jedi Proxeus at Yavin IV being the where the new Jedi are trained. Let's just please non canonise the sequel, simple! Wue Zang Wars would be an amazing story! Let Tartarkowsky's make a series of George finish his Original series on corsucant with that lady stepping out! Let's go!
For those of you whining about him referring to Kenobi as a massive success… it was by viewership standards. It received more views than any other Star Wars show except mando. It just wasn’t the show we hoped for.
Filoni might not be perfect but when u watch his stuff and then go watch Lucas Star Wars u see the same issues and great things. It’s cause George trained him. But people are so blinding by nostalgia they don’t realize old Star Wars has its issues. I love the old movies and filonis stuff but I can see flaws and that’s okay Star Wars is always flawed always will be. People just expect too much
Star Wars lacks true visionary leadership It doesn’t need to please the fans, or shareholders, or the politics of hollywood It needs to tell good stories.
People over hate on him. He’s not perfect but the mistakes he makes is the same things Lucas did in the prequels. And he was taught by George Lucas and people act like he’s tryna destroy Star Wars when he fr loves it. He fr said in interviews that he wants to make George proud and talks things over with him when creating shows he asks George about the lore if he doesn’t know. This is stuff he said in interviews. The problem is people thing the og movies were perfect when it had many mistakes and hold Disney to a higher standard cause they hate them for what they did to Luke (which I get that was messed up but that was different people than who makes the shows)
im sorry i love abeloth as a character but putting her in the canon timeline will ruin things, as in it will do nothing but just diminish any remaining importance that the sequel trilogy has every day i wake up and question why they made the EU non canon
The EU was never canon at least George Lucas said it wasn’t. Well actually he said it was in a lower level of canon. The movies he described way the highest then the shows (which are just as canon now since Disney took over) and then the books that got retconned all the time especially by George since a lot of EU stuff contradicted the prequels cause it came out before the prequels did. Him and Dave have talked about that in interviews. But why would aboloth diminish the sequels? Not to mention we got a new galaxy so that can explain where the mando era characters (including boba since he wasn’t in the sequels) are during the sequels
The problem really is that they can't use the ot characters for the most part. If they deepfake then they'll look terrible as deepfakes won't work for prolonged periods of time so they have to rely on these mandoverse characters as they quite simply can't use the old ones
While I think recasting is better I also know a big problem is the comics. Like apparently in the comics (idk if this is 100% true) but luke never got involved with the new republic and neither did lando. Hell lando went mia for a while so that’s why i think he won’t show up even though i want him too. The point is that the sequels and lore for the ot characters post episode 6 kinda fucked them over hell because of the sequels we cant even have Jedi Leia which is such bullshit tbh.

Ugh STOP. NO STOP RIGHT THERE. I think STUART BEATTIE wrote the original script for the Kenobi series. I think it was supposed to be 3 movies. We would have seen the return of Commander Cody ... COMMANDER CODY!!!!!!. ( No Cody DOESN'T DIE). Kennedy and Filoni didn't want it. Seriously???? If I find it I will post it. I think it's in RUclips somewhere in an interview somewhere. He was ok when George Lucas was there but by himself he's not that creative ( just my opinion) He also stepped all over Jon Favearu's Mandalorian. That's why season 3 was so bad.
@ledinyourwalls ok that was PART of the problem then lol 😅 Yeah they also ( at least I thought) they made the Mandalorian take a backseat in season 3 of the Mandalorian. It felt more like the Bo Katan show. Also the BOBF should have left Grogu out of it. Save Grogu as a Crossover with Boba Fett in the Mandalorian BUT like BOBF just with him and Fennec Shand Also how did you feel about the bikers??
It wasn’t Dave who did that it was Disney. They wanted grogu back so they made him and mando invade bobas show. Thankfully that didn’t happen In Ahsoka and mando didn’t get upstaged in mando season 3 but grogu being their made no sense. Especially when mando and bo just start leaving him with other people like they did when they met Lizzo. And I wouldnt say Bo upstaged mando but she became the other lead which I Iike since the show is literally called mandolorian and the mando elements is what made me like it especially with the different tribes coming together
@@tommyfamolare8740 This is just my opinion but....Kennedy definitely steps in more then she should. The storyline could have been better. Minus the Lizzo storyline too. Filoni is DEFINITELY bending the knee. He does Whatever Kennedy wants,. It is his boss... His stories aren't as good as they were when Lucas was there. The Mandalorian was Favearu's project. So Directly or indirectly - Filoni is definitely stepping in more then he should. Again Kennedy is definitely the main reason

Anakin makes sense since he’s watching over her and helped her get over her trauma last season and officially completed her training. Obi-wan idk we have to see how it works. But also remember leaks like this came out around the time mando season 3 and Ahsoka were coming out and they were mostly wrong and gave people way to high of expectations. So don’t believe this until we see it cause we heard things like this before
There not member berries if they serve the plot like anakin did last season. If it wasn’t for him Ahsoka would have never gotten over her trauma and become more like her self like she did after there fight.
He's probably planning on having an entire flashback episode so there could be a live action version of a clone wars episode. Either that or he just adds a live action scene that is supposed to take place when Ahsoka, Kenobi, and Anakin went to that force planet with the gods of the force or whatever they were. I'd be happier with a new clone wars episode that is live action but I would still rather the Ahsoka show just focus on the present and not the past.
I agree but take all of this with a grain of salt I remember after boba fett ended there were so many fake leaks abt mando season 3, kenobi. And ahsoka that never even came true. If they do make a live action clone wars movie or something like that I hope it’s one of the cut arcs from the original show
Idk but I’ve noticed at the end of every mando era season besides mando season 2 someone dies,so I wonder who it will be. I’m hoping Sabine cause she’s my least favorite out of the characters who are still on paridea. But I noticed it cause in mando season 1 we had quil (I’m sorry I don’t remember how to spell his name) in boba we had bane, in mando 3 we had Gideon and in ahsoka we had Morgan.

'massive success' eh? I see how it is Ecks clips. I see how it is. Filoni's cameoverse has *totally* been a successful venture thus far and things aren't at all doing poorly. No, more cameos must be the answer!
might need glasses though, mate
Dude u realize things are a cameo if they dont serve the story. Like anakin and 3PO weren’t cameos they were important to the story’s same with the Ahsoka and Luke in mando cause it continued the story of that season, that’s why they didn’t come back in the 3rd cause it would of made no sense. And people seem to be mad that there are a lot of returning characters in shows with only a few new ones. How is this a bad thing? I’d rather continue the story’s of already established characters then drop them and create new ones just to drop them and continue the cycle.
@@tommyfamolare8740 Nope, that isn't true. A cameo is simply a guest appearance of a recognisable character whose presence isn't necessary to the story
@ that’s my point though anakin finishing ahsokas training was important. It wasn’t a cameo cause it was needed to give her a character arc and to have her get over the past
@@tommyfamolare8740 It wasn't at all necessary, nor did it make any sense. Rebels already did a fantastic job at addressing Ahsoka's feelings and explaining how she got over the past. The Ahsoka show was just weird and stupid.

Oh, cool, so they're going to ruin Abeloth now.
You say that like she wasn't mid to begin with.
@AzureWolf-91 what are you even on right now? Abeloth was the embodiment of a great final villain, along with a group of Sith. Fate of the Jedi was epic. That story arc was anything but mid.
@ A lost tribe of Sith SOMEHOW managing to embed themselves throughout the GA in only 2 years after not having space travel for 5000. It took Nom Anor over a decade get that deep undercover. Darth Krayt showing up at the end for no other reason than to be a cameo after contributing nothing to the overall story. Kenth Hamner's utterly stupid death. Tying Abeloth into the Ones at the absolute last second with zero foreshadowing.
And its worst sin: the fact it didn't wipe the events of Legacy of the Force completely out of existence.

Hmmm was Obiwan Kenodi a success??
Because while filoni is knowledgeable we can do better
we need skeleton crew season 2!
Obi wan was a disaster and hated by the fan base…. Complete garbage series that sucked
So I take it the Anakin and Obi Wan stuff is probably going to be about filling new people in on the Mortis stuff.
Please god just no more reva, for all that is good. No more of her character.
Absolutely no faith in Star Wars anymore. Even Ahsoka was just a poor show.
We finally get a Clone Wars flashback?
Lol @ massive success. You're living in your own world
This "news" couldn't be less interesting either.
@@Comatosedpeanut You're missing the point. Viewership matters as metric to measure success. Especially to investors and the like. Investors don't care about fan's feelings. They care about numbers.
I think it makes sense to have Obi wan in a flashback. I just hope the flashbacks in season 2 are more important then in season 1.
Massive success =sarcasm?
He's got 8 episodes and a movie to do a lot with, I'm there won't be enough time/budget to do it all well
Yeah, but where the hell is Luke Skywalker?
You know- Anakin's son? Hero of the first trilogy? The dude who brought the Jedi back from extinction?
Filoni is a mediocre hack at best. He's always been in lockstep with his Dictator-Queen, Kathleen Kennedy, and has obediently kept Luke out of the picture, as per her command. But hey, there's plenty of witches and wolves! Just what every space opera needs.
I hate the sequels and Kennedy just as much as the next guy, and even I’m telling you to calm your unhinged tits.
Well considering Lucas loved the witches I think they fit right in and wtf are u talking abt Luke did come back and is most likely gonna be in the thrawn movie, y’all complain abt cameos then get mad when someone who doesn’t fit in the story of the show isn’t their. Luke is building his temple right now and Sabine lost the map in episode 1 so the rest of the show the characters were in a hurry when the hell would they have grabbed Luke? And don’t blame him for the comics fucking up and saying luke wasn’t involved in the new republic even though people complain abt him retconning stupid shit like that. U know nothing at all
It needs Luke.
Anakin and obi will probably be force ghosts since this is after rotj.
And it’s on Disney + with the other shows so it’s not like it’s less or more accessible. And this might seem lazy but can people not just watch a recap to understand what’s going on that’s what I do when their is backstory for something I wanna watch. Either way I just don’t want the entire first episode to be just recapping stuff.
Be careful Gary Bettman dont try to shut down our Star Wars vids too!

Wue Zang Wars would be an amazing story!
Let Tartarkowsky's make a series of George finish his Original series on corsucant with that lady stepping out!

For those of you whining about him referring to Kenobi as a massive success… it was by viewership standards. It received more views than any other Star Wars show except mando. It just wasn’t the show we hoped for.
So, when you say "Filoni at it again..." you mean how he is one of the 3-4 people who actually do Star Wars the right way? Sure.
Filoni might not be perfect but when u watch his stuff and then go watch Lucas Star Wars u see the same issues and great things. It’s cause George trained him. But people are so blinding by nostalgia they don’t realize old Star Wars has its issues. Obi wan is back is a good sign
Star Wars lacks true visionary leadership
It doesn’t need to please the fans, or shareholders, or the politics of hollywood
It needs to tell good stories.
I hope it is true
I’m good with that to be honest
This is like 50% good news and 50% bad news, btw idk who was smoking crack when they saw the obi wan tv show as a "massive success"LOL
Where does that person get that from?
You know star wars is in bad shape is when this man gets hated and potential clone wars coming back gets hated too
People over hate on him. The problem is people thing the og movies were perfect when it had many mistakes and hold Disney to a higher standard cause they hate them for what they did to Luke (which I get that was messed up but that was different people than who makes the shows)
im sorry i love abeloth as a character but putting her in the canon timeline will ruin things, as in it will do nothing but just diminish any remaining importance that the sequel trilogy has
every day i wake up and question why they made the EU non canon
The EU was never canon at least George Lucas said it wasn’t. Well actually he said it was in a lower level of canon. The movies he described way the highest then the shows (which are just as canon now since Disney took over) and then the books that got retconned all the time especially by George since a lot of EU stuff contradicted the prequels cause it came out before the prequels did. Him and Dave have talked about that in interviews. But why would aboloth diminish the sequels? Not to mention we got a new galaxy so that can explain where the mando era characters (including boba since he wasn’t in the sequels) are during the sequels
I hope this season is great
Is this going to be a 15 second scene?
Dave Filoni bears no legitimacy, dumb entertainment for the neurodivergent half of Gen Z
Obi-Wan series a 'massive success'??? Yeah I don't believe what was said in this video now. Stop the coping, stop the shilling. It was a bad show.
It was a fantastic show
@@Boo_YeahAss show. The choreography was on par with The rise of Skywalker (really bad), they butchered Obi wan and an unknown inquisitor hijacked the main antagonist role, what’s more, everyone acted SO unlike themselves that it was just sad to see. Plus copying JFO with the inquisitors’ fortress as if the writers had ran out of ideas, pathetic.
It got a lot of views and to Disney that's all that matters, so yes technically it was a success stop coping
But it sounded AMAZING. Of course they wouldn't use it BECAUSE KENNEDY HAS LUCAS AND WANTS TO DESTROY ANYTHING STAR WARS. QHAIN WHY ISN'T SHE FIRED YET??? Also I don't trust Filoni. He was ok when George Lucas was there but by himself he's not that creative ( just my opinion) He also stepped all over Jon Favearu's Mandalorian. That's why season 3 was so bad.
Thats not why s3 was bad. Disney made them shoehorn grogu back in completely derailing s3 and bobf
@@tommyfamolare8740 Also did you hear what the original Kenobi story was supposed to be? Commander Cody was supposed to come back which would have been awesome. I will find it and post it later.
Oh bloody hell… remind me again why people like Filoni…🤦🏻♂️😓
Cause he’s George lucases appreciate and was taught all about Star Wars from him.
I don't understand why people want this. Have we not seen enough of them?
Anakin makes sense since he’s watching over her and helped her get over her trauma last season and officially completed her training. Obi-wan idk we have to see how it works. But also remember leaks like this came out around the time mando season 3 and Ahsoka were coming out and they were mostly wrong and gave people way to high of expectations. So don’t believe this until we see it cause we heard things like this before
Obi, ani, ahsoka again, we need rex on this show
Fun, more 'member berries
There not member berries if they serve the plot like anakin did last season. If it wasn’t for him Ahsoka would have never gotten over her trauma and become more like her self like she did after there fight.
Why waste time with clone wars flashbacks, need more time to develop Luke and maybe a recast leia as part of this story
facepalm
Why not Padme, too?
Because that'd be fan service
Jedi were trained to be force ghosts, not senators.
Any deceased non-Jedi characters should be treated the same as any deceased person in real life.
@legndaryhero Unless it's more visions on Mortis.
@@wickdaline8668 If it was Anakin, sure. But I don’t see how Padme would be more important than Anakin and Obi-Wan for Ahsoka.
@legndaryhero Ahsoka was close to Padme as friends.
