- Bendy and the Ink Machine Chapter 5 appeared to show a different version of Bendy in the latest trailer. This new Bendy model looked similar to the previous Bendy design found within BATIM before the remaster released earlier this year. But is it simply a reuse of the original Bendy design or are there two versions of Bendy, one that Henry created upon powering on the ink machine and one that was already living at Joey Drew Studios. Or perhaps this is the evolution of the Bendy that Henry has encountered so far in the story of the game. In this new Bendy chapter 5 theory video we take a look at several possible theories to try and discover the reason behind this mysterious alteration to Bendy's design.

I think Henry might've been a perfect Bendy just like Allison was a perfect version of Alice and it might be why Sammy said to Henry "YOU SAID I'D BE FREE" even though Henry would've never said that, so Sammy might've confused Henry's perfect Bendy form with the Monstrous Bendy

I think when a character goes in an ink puddle, they come out differently, so maybe bendy can change his shape and form in an instant

I’ve always had the impression that whenever a character dies, they respawn by the statues, just like Henry. Therefore, there can BE the same projectionist in both chapters, even with his death. However, because Bendy ripped off his head, maybe that hinders his respawn. Maybe he can’t now. When we kill him, he’s still completely intact, just like every other enemy in the game, so maybe all the enemies are respawning, too. And that might be how we finally kill Bendy- we chop off his head with Allison’s sword.
the ink machine can resurrect the ink creatures so there might just be only one Norman (Projectionist)

probably just trying to escape. The random orange flashes that last like 5 seconds is Henry remembering his past adventures throughout Joey drew studios. Because we know that Joey threw Henry into a loop by having him revisit Joey drew studios and Henry has gone through the same adventure so many times but things changed throughout those adventures so. Those hands in the walls were probably there when Henry first entered Joey drew studios (sorry for making this so long and probably repetitive)

1. Have you noticed that Bendy ALWAYS appears in the posters of his cartoons?

So what if we can reborn, that means that other creatures can reborn. Like Norman, Butcher gang, The searchers, etc. That means that
Sammy, Alice and others can also reborn... Also when there is death scene where we are in ink tunnel we hear Henry s lines from chapter 1

I noticed a lot of people in the comments jump to the conclusion that Henry in Bendy as well. And that is why he comes back by the statues, but if you pay attention to Susie Alice’s lines, you’ll discover that the “screaming, buzzing well of voices” is what we see after we die and exit into the place where the Bendy statues are. And if you watch another one of SuperHorrorBro’s videos you will see that Sammy comes back as a searcher. We see him dissolve into ink after Tom kills him, so we know that anyone in the studio who dies will enter the ink tunnel thing and be reborn. We know that Henry is not being reborn when he goes in because when he comes back out, people still recognize him as Henry. Alison Angel says that they can’t enter the ink river because “We’re not like you Henry” implying that Henry not only is still human, but later dialogue also states that if a toonified person goes into the ink (and in my mind the ink tunnel) they will disappear and be reborn into something else. Henry is not something else in the game. Henry is still human.
SHB i think they showed the old bendy because they did not want to spoil the new bendy design for chapter 5.

I have a theory I have stuck with since the release of chapter 5, I think I have a theory that might be true. I have a theory for bendy seeming to have been roaming the studio for awhile. Time may have been different under the studio, so when Henry activated the ink machine. Months may have passed for the people below the surface.

The evolution theory was the first thing to come to my mind initially, I feel like they might change it so the Bendy model changes every chapter or two, or maybe just in Chapter 5. Other than that, if there are going to be two Bendys I'm certain that they will be Joey and Henry. The one from Chapter 1 could be the same one roaming decades before - i.e. Joey - because Alice's Chapter 3 dialogue proves ink creatures can be 'born from it's (The Ink Machine's) inky womb' multiple times. for me at least-
I know this is a little bit late to respond but even though we don’t see two bendys this theory sticks out still to this day to me. Every victim of Joey Drew’s experiments had to have some form of body, either cartoon character, or inky failed monster. What is Henry? It is unlikely that his normal form would be projected through the cartoon world, but it could be half on this theory. There is evidence of his cartoon form, but also people see him as unique, and are likely not used to seeing a normal human being. But also, there are other things to be sceptic of, too. Obviously, I commented on this video for a good reason, so I believe Henry is another version of bendy, likely a form of bendy with a smile, rather than a grin. Henry could be the savior version of bendy being honored by inky souls. Joey could be the antagonist devilish version of bendy that everyone fears and is superior to everyone else. The first sign of evidence is shown at the end of the first chapter, when Henry gets knocked out and sees visions and flashbacks. One is the ink machine where he was likely formed form, next Joey’s wheelchair as a symbol of him in is apartment or house, but finally unusually bendy standing at the entrance door. There could be two things that resemble this creature. A, Joey entering the studio. B, Henry entering the studio. It could show what creature Henry had become. If it were Joey, he might have been doing something with the ink machine, but whoever the footsteps belong to were probably trapping him to prevent him from hurting them or maybe even Henry. If it were Henry, it most likely resembles what Henry is. Moving on, Sammy thinks Henry looks familiar to him. This could be a hint to the cycle. But it could also mean a confusion to Sammy, as though the two look identical. But we can’t be sure because he moves on. Jumping to chapter four, the lost ones seem to welcome him in, and also to remember, they worship Bendy. When Henry gets to a vent opening, Bendy jump scares him, and once getting a closer look points at him, identifying communication that he wouldn’t give to others. Sort of like of a I’m watching you response. Then, Henry enters Bendy Land and finds that Betrium wants revenge. This could mean that because Joey is a version of Bendy, Bertium might have been manipulated by his visuals and wanted revenge on Henry instead of Joey. Then after defeating him, Henry enters the train attraction, where the projectionist lurks. When Henry gets found returning back to the power switch he then hides from the projectionist to prevent being caught. Unfortunately, he decides to check, but then Bendy pops out of nowhere and rips his head off his body. Before he leaves, he spots Henry in the little miracle station, and glances at him, as though there is something off. He then continues with his usual routines. Finally in chapter five, Henry goes and visits the little village at the end of the ink river. He then gets confronted by Sammy. He appears with angry at Henry as he wants revenge on him. It isn’t directly only to Henry because he says “He lies. He always lies.” But he might have also been fooled by his Bendy appearance. One thing that proves this is when he says, “I’M GOING TO WIPE THAT SMILE RIGHT OF YOUR FACE!” This shows evidence of either the bendy smile or grin. He could be referring to the hideous grin Joey decides on as an expression. Finally he dies saying, “You lied to me. You said I’d be free!” Unfortunately, he never gets to find out who Henry really is, and gets killed by Tom. Anyways, that was a long, in-depth theory I thought of. Like this comment if you agree that this could be a possibility.

For me it's obvious that there are 2 Bendys. After the chapter 4 update in chapter two it's still the old model but rendszered. In chapter 3, 4 he's more skinny and you see his chest.

For me the remaster bendy looks more faster and flexible and stronger
There are two or three bendy's
One bendy is to kill everything he sees and is a monster (The Chases Bendy and Chapter 5 Bendy)
One bendy is really kind and helps everyone and does not kill anyone (The Projectionist Bendy, The Vents Bendy, The Sammy Killed By Bendy)
One bendy is probably henry himself and is perfect (50% Chance)
This so called other bendy is probably the beta version searching a new world after losing the title of the official ink bendy
I think that second bendy is sammy lawrence. everything leads to him. when bendy(I think first one is joey) attacks sammy he transforms sammy into a bendy looking creature. Second bendy wants revenge so he is protecting henry. he saved henry from projectionist in that moment, but he still can't control himself 100% because being in bendy creature body

late reply so I don't expect a response I'm just gonna mention that sense Henry did come up with Bendy maybe the one seen in the trailer could be the same Bendy that Henry came up with after all it was mentioned that Joey did use Bendy as an experiment as well to try and get them off the paper and it didn't work, but they don't exactly explain how it didn't work other than "unworldly" if I remember right, maybe this one could of been the more friendlier Bendy that Henry intended which is why Joey considered it such a failure.
