Panasonic microwaves do not use beryllium oxide for their ceramic insulators (source: Panasonic website). Also, it is only harmful is inhaled from close contact. Standing near it won't expose me to the dust plus most is trapped inside the body as it gets smashed.
lol yeah iv'e taken apart microwaves with friends and I always assume that there is beryllium oxide inside of it. until I knew that Panasonic's were safe that video was absolute terror

Please be careful with the next one you smash, the magnetron contains Beryllium and that's not ideal to breathe in. Everything else just smash it.
