With the hard bodies, probably pays to have a shallow one too, like a Halco Laser Pro or a Rapala Xrap or something, I have to say I have had very little success on the Nomads and they tend to stay in the tackle box or even at home now.
When your fishing that little squid jig do you put a sinker on it ? also what size is it ? I use the bigger version of the squidtrex when im in open water and dont seem to catch anything however id love to use a slightly smaller one but the current tends to rip it
