Great video for being dead center in the PIT. I don't get the handful of complaints on their sound. I've seen em a half dozen times in the PIT and there's no way I'd get this sound quality. What kind of phone do you have? Thanks for the upload!!!
It's recorded on a phone. Phone recording is mono and it's impossible to say if the engineer had tried to fix the phasing issues. Phasing issues is the reason the sound is bad. Not the bands fault.
@@TheuglyTrip Because each time Pete plays a lick or "lead" the low end drops out and the song sounds naked. Chevelle is my favorite studio band on the planet.

Always got people crying how it wasn’t good and such and granted there are bands that are prob awful live , but don’t say a band was awful when they were good , plus everyone hears and sees things differently then the next person .. but yeah they don’t seem like the type of band that would suck , Ntm his guitar playing is top notch and unique
Are you new to live music recordings? What you're hearing is what was captured on a phone. Not what you would hear in person, they probably sounded quite good...
