Playing this full album now. Bought it when it was first released and it is one of my favourite “play from beginning to end” albums. Congratulations to Matchbox Twenty on a wonderful anniversary. This album has a few years on it but it never grows old.

I got this album when I was 10 years old and played it nonstop in my bedroom by myself while I ate skittles and got lost in my imagination. Drawing, reading, tinkering and trying not to bump my cd player so it wouldn't skip. I was a lonely kid, but matchbox 20 was always there for me in my room. This band is a huge part of my childhood along with Fuel and Staind and Nickelback. Glad I am still here in my 30s and able to enjoy it. Still lonely, but I've got good tunes like this to keep me company.
That's awesome. I love stories shared like yours. I was 16 when I "earned" my $15 by cleaning Grandpa's home, and I got to go buy this album when it came out back then. Funny, I don't even remember this song "Angry", but I played this CD to death, listening every moment I had my earbuds in, was my Junior year of HS. I have a soft spot for "Leave". That's my favorite.
I've enjoyed MB20 since first album (I was in high school). I got my hard rock loving hubby hooked, and now my 16 year old son and several of his friends!! They put SO much into their music and concerts, and I love that they're still going hard. Thanks for 20+ years of great shows!
