You should also add the F4S, MiG 23 ML, and maybe the MiG 21 Lazur-M.. but personally I've only seen matches full off F4S and MiG 23 ML, the MiG 21 Lazur-M isn't bought as much
@DownloadPizza I havent played much in the past few weeks but out of my 1k matches in the F5C I cant ever remember surviving anything that felt unfair. As it was when i was still playing it felt like any damage taken outside of like blacked nose cone felt like instant death since you couldnt fly fair enough to limp back to base to repair. When did this realshatter change happen?
@@Explosiveliberty a good burst from any high BR cannon rips the F5 apart or sets it on fire, which is also deadly because no extinguisher. So yeah, the Su25 is way worse
Any of you guys played the F-5C on release? That thing was basically immune to R-60s and cannon fire. Nowadays its flight model is still pretty strong, as the only thing to reliably kill it is a fire. Its wings are petty strong and it still flies with broken wings and a heavily damaged fuselage.
Keyboard controls pull harder than mouse guidance, and plane handles better lower the fuel is. Though for truly funky shit, switch to full real controls. Ol' bird can do a f***ing cobra, provide you dont COMPLETELY lose control and smash into the ground

Although AV8A's engine holds thrust better in sustained manuvers, and can climb faster than F5C depending on loadouts, it handles like a brick whereas the 'small tiger' can give the br12.7s a run for for their money (if it gets close enough to force a turnfight, far from garanteed)

idk what you're on about. This thing is a beast. It can go toe to toe even with SMTs. It's the uptiers to 11.0 that kill it, but even then you can score some nasty kills if you manage to survive the missile onslaught and join in on the furball.

I'm always fighting 11.0s the missiles are deadly, the f5c has barely enough flares and is more adept in my experience going after the turbofans ground attackers like the su-25, a-10 and harrier. They are too busy either going for bases or for ground targets so they fly in a straight line for my missiles that can't hit a target 2.3 miles away that fires a single flare. But when I get locked and dump 20 flares and 20 chaff while notching and diving. Still get a missile in my exhaust. You are either the luckiest or I'm the unluckiest player.

No, I'm pretty bad at the game and consistently drop 2-3 kill games. Keep over mach 0.85 and just do loops around your enemies, they literally cant do anything. Radar missiles are easy to notch, because of slim radar cross-section. You have a very cold engine so only one flare is typically necessary alongside turning
its arcade like the other guy said and to do what he did you need to full rudder roll and pull up at the same time you can bind a single key to do all three at the same time its use full some times but some planes can go into spins that are hard to recover from so i wouldnt try it at low altitude

f5c was the best rp grinder for me. I was getting 3-4 kills per match with 20k rp per match. I got to the f-14 so fast definitely worth it.

use ap rounds in f5c to kil su 25's and a-10's
since they nerfed he cannon shells you have to use ap if you want to kill anything quickly without using up your ammo
love that Su-25’s can tank 200 cannon rounds and survive multiple missile hits just to putt the fire out and rtb, totally balanced plane

its not arcade. he just switched control types , you can do the maneuver in pretty much most aircraft
