Isn't the 122 basically a much shorter 22? (same with the 222, which is exactly the same as the northern end of the 22: between Teignmouth and Dawlish Warren)

The 122 is a seasonal route that does follow the 22 for a while between Torquay and Babbacombe. The 122 and 222 is more for tourists than the locals
