Do what works for you. Everyone is an expert at telling others what they should do. You and your family pay the bills on your farm, therefore you all decide how to farm it. End of story.
Love your response. I agree with you!
This! Anyone who thinks these guys listen to the comments section is laughable!
A mechanic like David is priceless, he's awesome at it and you can tell he enjoys it
Prayers for a safe and prosperous year. Thank you for being farmers and feeding the world.
You know you enjoy a channel when you keep hitting refresh waiting for it to start!
Works for us, you do what works for you. Excellent quote! Great video!
Great video guys ! Thanks Reese for taking the time to share it ! I think it’s really disappointing that someone from Case isn’t right there at the field with Dennis figuring out the problem with the planter . That’s how to loose a Great Customer ! Be Safe Everyone ! 👍
Its Go Time ! Tractor drving, seeding, drone flying and filming. Enjoyed watching, big hellos to Dennis Reese and Robert and rest of the Ivers Family ! Ty for sharing ..God Bless
Really like riding along with you guys .. I’m 65 and it takes me back to when I was younger and my family farmed… nice job
I Love the Iver's Farming Operation. Thanks for the excellent videos. Please don't stop. Have a blessed season. Jim in Texas.
Man I could smell the smells of that ground be worked, glad to see you guys planting, hope that weather cooperates, and no major break downs!!! Wyoming!!

yea it is hard to find good hands/ mechanics, i watch just to remind me of the area , i use to work for fred wilson up around harlan indiana and worked over at marshall , ill. but we brought a house in sullivan county so reminds me of the area, when farmed never the ground you do , maybe 2000 arcres
Happy for you Reese and the guys. You all are really rolling. Just about go time here in Northeast Ohio. Stay safe 😊.
Excellent video guys, we’re about to start rolling in south western Ontario, just need it to dry out a bit more. Here’s to a great plant 2024!
Another great week of planting. Hoped you would get a bit more rain as some of the fields looked somewhat dry. Have a great week and stay safe.
those drone shots are great its amazing technology
🔥nothing rong with 500 acres day.. Chevy hill is beautiful field eh🔥👊🔥
Make mi smile that 380 🥳🤝🇳🇴
I will say this about those 1200 monitors, they are less complicated than the Deere systems. But they seem to be just as much of a pain as the Deere.
Started planting this week in southeast Wisconsin. Little cool little wet, but conditions are all right to plant corn. Be safe planting this year.
Great video You guys are moving right along.Glade you got all your white corn planted. I'm interest to see what your new beans does as far as yield goes. hope you have good week next week.👍
Good video. I enjoyed it.
We’re running yetter shark tooth row cleaners on 1240 12/23 planting no till in corn stalks with cover crop and double crop beans through wheat straw. Don’t have any complaints with them so far
I can understand not working sandy type soils. They dry out quick. They blow in windy conditions and can cut and kill the seedlings and young plants.
It can be a problem sowing in sandy soils that are loose.
We have row cleaners on a 2140 split row. In no till theyll plug if too aggressive. I dont really think theyre needed. I just let them barely scrub the ground usually
Been watching for 2 years waiting for a shot of the white corn on the cob dried. White corn is my favorite popcorn. I’m guessing the corn you plant has a lot bigger kernels. So, that’s why I want to see it since it’s for tortilla flour.
great video reese jay working while ill thats dedication
Tri State Illinois Missouri Iowa some places 4 inches Friday at least three so far today. Some planting got done Thursday hopefully on the hills where there is no flooding.
Thanks for the video have a great spirit filled Sunday and wet one lol
Beautiful cat at the barn
Some times those monitors problems are for a rest
Had them on Kinze and they were great for the corn stubble
I think the way you plant into the fall worked ground is the best way for you to do it.
Go big red
👍👍
Nice Vid!
"you get it up high enough it aint that heavy" thats what she said
Hey Reese, great videos man, just wondering about the big 2 story house in the background at 40:22 who’s lives there? What’s the story on it? Noticed it in a couple videos and was just wondering
Does the 620 have twin pumps or high capacity to run the 2160
It’s a ground wire, or add one…. I had that happen and it drove me nuts…. I hate saying it, but luck has nothing to
Do with it… it just happens…. Safe planting down there in Illinois from a Saskatchewan neighbor!!!
Jay is sick alright because he's sick and tried of working on his Peterbilt get better Jay
Question does it wear the gear out faster on the planter when you go thru the no till than if you yelled it.
Have you watched Cole the corn star Video on this years farm budget? Very interesting
Ivers are way above and beyond Cole the Cornflakes operation. He’s a disgrace to the farming community!!!
invite them guys to pay the fuel bill to do all that tillage
Do you guys put down a residual with your burndown before the no-till corn? Does the row cleaners mess with it?
🤠🤠🤠👍👍👍👍
Great video! I have a question and it may be a dumb question. I have noticed in many videos that each of you work/plant your fields in different directions than what looks like the direction/lines left the last time it was worked. Is this on purpose? Does your field mapping program take you in a certain direction or adjust to where you start each time and go from there?
Did you guys purchase any of the Henderson ground?
How would LSW’s stack up to tracks?
You mention Johnson Farm. Is that Wayne Johnson? He was my teacher when I was a freshman in HS in 1970 at Farina Il. Tell him Hi.
Yes
I would think 15" rows that are irrigated would produce monsterous bushels per acre ! Do you acgree ?
Could a guy plant winter wheat with that Salford that you planted the rye with?
Jay, what hills?
How many acres are ya'll going to plants
I’ll send you a liquid starter.
Won’t cost you a thing!
Just give me your honest opinion.
Yes 245 i had held 180 and this one 155 dont make a dang bit of sense to me, engineer screwed up big time
How many acres will 1 box of corn cocer?
Little over 100. 50 bags usually. Sometimes 45
All depends on population but 100 be close
Did George retire from planting?
I was wondering that myself?
Audio is bad ,specially with Dennis!
Can't understand what you guys say. Bad audio.
Last time I was down that way rode around in Indiana and there was alot of Ameren vehicles over there. They going to put windmills over there?
Pipeline
Great video hope you get planting done with little issues thanks for sharing
