    Indirect water supply is the most important part of the pump system in this
    project which is a separate area for pump fixing which is called the pump room.
    In this pump room we have installed 6 No Mono Block Pumps and 2 no’s
    Submersible Pumps for various systems in this project. Find all the details
    below.

    Mono block pumps are mainly recommended for freshwater as well as fluids
    which are not chemically violent toward the components of the pump. These
    pumps are mainly used for Big buildings Apartment’s, industrial, civil due to
    their consistency and strength.
    This precautionary measure must be followed before the mono
    block pump startup:
    • Do not run centrifugal pumps under low rated flow or with suction or
    discharge valves off. This condition can quickly lead to mono block
    pump failure and physical injury.
    • Always disconnect and lock out power to the driver before you perform
    any installation or maintenance tasks.
    Mono block pump start-up in reverse rotation can result in the contact
    of metal parts, heat generation, and breach of containment.
    • Clean the system thoroughly to remove dirt or debris from the pipe
    system to prevent failure at the initial pump startup.
    • Bring variable-speed drivers (if installed) to the rated speed as quickly
    as possible.
    • Generally, if the temperatures of the pumped fluid will exceed 200°F
    (93°C), then warm up the pump prior to pump start-up.
    • Circulate a small amount of fluid through the pump until the casing
    temperature is 100 °F above the fluid temperature before pump start-up
    to avoid thermal shock to the liner and impeller and to prevent loss of
    the mechanical seal.
    Mono Block pump starts up procedure:
    • Before pump start-up you must perform these tasks: -
    • Open the suction valve.
    • Fully close or partially open the discharge valve, depending on system
    conditions.
    • . Start the driver.
    • Slowly open the discharge valve until the pump reaches the desired flow.
    • Check the pressure gauge to ensure that the pump quickly reaches the
    correct discharge pressure.
    ➢ Monitor the pump while it is operating.
    ➢ Check the pump for bearing temperature, vibration,
    and noise.
    ➢ Clean all pumps 1-time weekly Filter must be
    mandatory.
    ➢ Always ensure the flow of water to the pump room.
    ➢ If in any case there is water flow in the pump then run
    the pump room drainage pump at that time, remove the
    water from inside to outside.
    ➢ Check All U.G Tank Water Tube Levels Before
    Running the Pump .
