Watching this on Feb 15th 2021. I was 10 on Feb 15th 71 and remember the old money very well. Sixpence in the Christmas pudding, threepence , the old penny and the shilling.
A lot of foreigners mistook those little silver sixpences for 6p - I was in a boarding school with foreign nationals for staff - you could still use some old coins - 6d was tuppence-halfpenny in one coin - two tanners = 5p - a shilling was 5p and two shillings 10p - they were still in circulation for about a decade afterwards - but people got confused as to why a coin that said sixpence was < half its apparent value!

I wasn't affected by decimalisation as I was just an eight month old baby on Decimalisation Day. So there were no difficulties for me.
My grand mother knew both systems inside out.

The changeover didn't affect me as I was just eight months old at the time! No memory of old coinage to get confused by!
Used to shop at fine fare.

The older lady(0:57) at the cashier line is quite pretty; she has very pretty eyes and a pretty smile. 😁❤️
