I love how the driver blew his horn at you at Cologne. At our house, when someone upstairs wants someone downstairs, they give five nocks on wall at the top of the stairs. And if it is suppertime and another gallon of milk will be needed, there are two more knocks added. Just like at Cologne. The reason we started doing this is because if you just yell "supper" at the top of the stairs, I sometimes cannot hear it in my room because the sound has to go down the stairs and then make a u turn around the stairs to get to my room. Knocking on the wall however has no issues.
Thanks for the comment, and watching! Yes, in most cases they'll tie down the train either Hopkins or Minnetonka, and then the Glencoe crew comes to take it west.
Really good video that captures some nice action on the TC&W. Thank you for sharing! Mike
Thank you very much! They have such a neat route on the former Milwaukee Road main, and I'm hoping to shoot it a lot more this summer.
Nice filming, great “glint” shot at the end. Leaves on the trees now!
I'm glad you enjoyed it! That's a perk of the longer days; beautiful glint shots and green trees. :)
...and finding your fingers haven't frozen to your camera by the time you want to leave?
@@struck2soon That too! :)

It's like Christmas morning every time I see you've uploaded something new. Phenomenal video as always!
Thank you for the kind comment, and for watching! I'm glad you enjoy the weekly videos. :)
Gotta love the shave and a hair cut salute.
Thanks for watching! It was a very nice touch, and the horn was pretty darn cool too.
EMD power up!! 😁😁😁 This is amazing...
Thank you for watching! The TC&W really puts on a nice show, and has a lot of great employees that make for great scenes like the ones in this video.
Great video and catch!
Thank you very much! This is a neat and enjoyable railroad to go after.
Oh how I miss Minnesota!
Its a great state for the most! :D Thanks for watcing.
@@SD457500 I used to live near Redwood Falls. Not far from Jackpot Junction Casino.
SD, you must be well liked to get a "Shave and a haircut" from at least one engineer, and a wave too. Nicely done.
Thanks for the comment, and watching! It helps when you're friends with the crew. :)
nice video
Thanks for the visit, and the view. The TCWR is a colorful and neat operation.
Super video
Thank you for the kind comment, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
You've asked "What should I cover next?". How about the Sisseton Milbank Railroad (SMRR).
Thanks for the comment; is that the RR that runs north out of Milbank, SD?
Awesome
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it.
Once again, you have an absolute outstanding video, thanks for the content. What are the cameras above the numberbords of TCW 2010 and 2014?
Thank you for very much for the kind comment, and watching! I believe that they are in case the train strikes anything; so basically for liability.
Was that the old CNW Cedar Lake yard in SW Minneapolis? Or is the Cedar Lake yard now UP? I think that was its name.
That it was! I'm pretty sure CNW abandoned it long before UP took them over. Thanks for watching!
@@SD457500 thx Doug
I saw this same train earlier in the day at Hopkins. Do they usually tie the train down at Minnetonka?
