You've really inspired me to get out and shoot!
This may be too late, but you can extend an attached pole from the tripod head that holds the phone or item if you need it to turn with the camera, or a separate stand if it’s staying still. Then you can place your hand on it to look like you’re holding it with a dead steady hand.
I was really able to step my game up before I got my first dlsr sometime I still use my v30 or 20 for simple static shoots thanks for the tips man👍
I don't know if this is a compliment or not, but the V20 footage looked pretty much the same as your regular camera footage.
+Shivam Kumar LOL yes that is exactly the point. If you have good lighting and right equipment you can pretty much get the same results as pro cameras.

Bankhead 1 do what evah u fancy… my brother and I got our phones one year ago, him taking the note 5, and I took the v10… v10 is still smooth, note 5 on the other hand is lagging… same old sami boi…. sami boi issues 101…
Bankhead 1 nah i got the opposite opinion to yours xD... LG to me is the cleanest and smoothest so far, sami boi is the one with the software issues due to its heavy skin... btw why did u change ur pixal? dude the video recording on it is beasty awesome

Looking for some help here. We use our phones to capture the video for our channel. The problem we have is with the audio. We are 3 guys speaking, and there is usually food sizzling nearby and getting good audio is near impossible. Someone's voice is too low, or the food drowns out the speaker etc.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a 3 or 4 mic, wireless system that works with cell phones? I think a lapel mic per guy would help a lot but I cannot seem to find anything specifically set up for this.

Nice video. It's a pity there doesn't seem to be other more affordable cameras that have manual control over video and audio settings. I'm definitely not going the "Apple path" for phones, tablets or computers, so I'm looking for a Windows or Android way to do the same things on such OS. Does anyone know of any other software options?

I got the Sabrent headphone and microphone splitter adapter for my Samsung Galaxy but I'm not able to pick up audio when recording a video nor can I hear myself through headphone while recording a video. Please help! Thank you in advance.
The only thing missing is the best part, how to use quality headphones to adjust audio live while recording. Not just the directional, but the gain, etc... Oh, and the cool sound graph it displays while recording.

I want to film a commercial for an automotive tool. So my distance from camera might vary. What about sound/audio. I will use a Note 8 smartphone. Do I need an added mic of any kind? What distance will my smartphone pick up audio from? Will I need a lapek mic and if so, which one? Thanks

Max, can you please do a video explaining how to use the manual camera controls? Specifically the manual video camera settings. I haven't upgraded phones from the S6 Edge+ because of the the inability to root next generation Sammy's. Lack of development etc has kept me from upgrading. The Edge plus feels so much better in the hand even with the UAG case that I use on all my phones. I finally gave in because I'm really hoping to be able to catch some amazing concert footage that doesn't sound terrible. If you could do a, record an awesome I was here, concert video tutorial I would be very pleased and share it all over. Please help me get the most out of this massive brick. Don't get me wrong, there are many plus from the V20 than the +. I'm just hoping to get the most out of this so I don't feel regret when I pick up this heavy phone and look at my Samsung wireless fast charger and all my micro USB devices. :(

joe18370 what do u mean? if ur asking about filming in full screen using a smartphone, all ya gotta do is turn on the screens auto rotation and tilt/turn the phone sideways before pressing record.
