I think we should talk more about how Jisoo bagged her first leading role with Snowdrop. Getting the main role of the drama through audition among any other VETERAN actresses is already a great feat. The casting were filled with veteran and experienced actors and actresses, not to mention a CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED director and writer. Some may think (including me) that getting a VETERAN ACTRESS for the main role would be just usual but no, they chose a complete rookie actress with no supporting lead dramas to back her up. I think Jisoo really nailed the audition and was destined to be Young-ro, after all the script was written 12 years ago. It seems like the script finally found its own characters. I'm so proud of Jisoo, bagging this role is already a big achievement. I'm curious to watch the drama to see what made the director and writer cast her. I'm sure they saw a big potential from her, which I can't wait to see. Jisoo would certainly break the stereotype among idol-actors. She will be a powerhouse in the acting industry sooner or later.

I think we should talk more about how Jisoo bagged her first leading role with Snowdrop. Getting the main role of the drama through audition among any other VETERAN actresses is already a great feat. The casting were filled with veteran and experienced actors and actresses, not to mention a CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED director and writer. Some may think (including me) that getting a VETERAN ACTRESS for the main role would be just usual but no, they chose a complete rookie actress with no supporting lead dramas to back her up. I think Jisoo really nailed the audition and was destined to be Young-ro, after all the script was written 12 years ago. It seems like the script finally found its own characters. I'm so proud of Jisoo, bagging this role is already a big achievement. I'm curious to watch the drama to see what made the director and writer cast her. I'm sure they saw a big potential from her, which I can't wait to see.
Jisoo would certainly break the stereotype among idol-actors. She will be a powerhouse in the acting industry sooner or later.
