he's bad with every other woman except cristina. she was literally the only one who made him into the person he was. everyone who came after her just didn't have that same passion. he changed after she left and it was literally heartbreaking :( the only thing that helps me sleep at night is knowing that they're actually best friends in real life which is so cool and it's like their relationship never ended🥰
the problem is rather that the show is running out of idea for him, which is the case for most of the characters on the show because it has been going on for 17 seasons now

I loved Owen in the beginning and he definitely had mad chemistry with Christina but saying he's lost his charm now is unfair. In the beginning he just came back from war. He had to be cold, fast, focused and strong enough to handle war loss. So this traumatised man fell in love with a fierce woman and we all fell in love with that story. But then, he lived in a normal world, where he didn't have to keep his guard up anymore so he let his feelings show more, he was softer, and as it happens to all of us he also showed his insecurities, something he couldn't do in a warzone. So yea, his change was more than justifiable. What wasn't justifiable was how the writers paired him with Amelia, now i like Amelia but they had no business being together. A man like Owen, after Christina, deserved an endgame, a woman who loved him equally and wanted the same things he did
If he had excepted the job he wouldn't go back to his tour and he wouldn't see his team die (I can't even imagine that pain and that feeling of guilt he felt when he came back from his tour) and Cristina was the one who saved him from that pain 🥺
I used to ship Meredith with Christina and wish for them to grow old together and be this old confusing but happy couple. This video makes me happy and aches me a bit lol
