A tip to help understand the Tolkien-style naming conventons: When building his Elvish, Tolkien - being a linguist and philologist by profession - looked to languages like Finnish, Latin and Celtic. This means the letter C in names like Celairant is always pronounced like a K. By the time of LOTR, Middle-earth had essentially two "international" languages of communication, Sindarin (named for the eponymous Sindar, or Grey Elves, who are the elves in-between the High Elf Noldor, or Deep Elves, and Silvan wood elves) and Westron (the language of Humans and Hobbits, which is usually shown as English). There are many other languages too, like the High Elf Quenya (basically elvish Latin), Khuzdul (secret language of the Dwarves, think along the lines of Hebrew with a dash of Old Norse, and rarely spoken to non-Dwarves as they will use Sindarin or Westron for stuff like the Gates of Moria) and Black Speech (Sauron's corrupted form of Elvish, spoken by the Nazgûl in it's "pure" form and in a "butchered" way mixed with corrupted borrowings of Westron by the Orcs, which is why they all tend to sound overtly Cockney in media).
Press X to disable camera target tracking. The wraiths are beyond joke now. In 2 hours of just roaming around, my fellowship today summoned 2 Harrowing Wraiths, a mournful wraith and countless shadowy bois. Even a cargul showed up at one point and ruined us.
TITLE ANSWER The video is about the dwarf's journey through the game and how he became "unstoppable" by switching from an offensive build to a defensive build. This change allowed him to mitigate damage much more effectively while still dealing a good amount of damage.
Get the 1st Skill from YelowTrait Tree (Force Opening) that will enable a Parry response. This will let you use more often (Retaliation) attaks and your (Catch a Breath) Heal not having to rely on Block or parry ;)
When I was a young man I used to play this game, at that time it was quite current and I payd real money to create a dward wizard, had a blast for quite a while. I can't remember shit about the gameplay now😆
I think 2 reasons for the incredible difference between blue and red might be due to 1: damage between Dps and tanks at lower levels are a lot closer. At higher levels it gets significantly more imbalanced(eg at 150 a Dps on average would do let’s say 50-60k on a single target dummy, a tank does like 10k max). Another is likely due to a mechanic that’s very integral to red guard that’s not very intuitive. TLDR if a skill is classified as an “immediate” it can be used to “cut” the animation of the skill you were using before. You would typically combo this with your longest animation skills (like cutting overwhelm with breach). This essentially can dramatically increase your actions per minute and since there is no GCD in lotro, it helps a ton
I feel the damage difference even at lvl 20, the animation cutting gives EXTREME boost to dps. You get bleed and burst at the same time because your character spasms out the animations like an epileptic crackhead with a greatsword
@@auag6284 it’s even crazier with red ministel, you typically use your main cut skill like at least 70-80 times in a good 3 min parse and is easily the fastest feeling dps in the game. Though minstrel is an extreme end of this mechanic.
@@auag6284 the main cut mini uses is piercing cry, it doesn’t get as active as I was mentioning till higher levels when you get a skill in the yellow tree that says PC resets when you crit with a ballad. For now you can do like call to fate cut with PC and 1 shot most mobs. There’s a lot more specifics but difficult to get into in a RUclips comment😂
Keep in mind as well, that you don't have to run on Fearless+3 for any practical reason (*cough*e-peen!*cough*). Landscape Difficulty 3 (Fearless) is the minimum to gain the LVL 50 and above titles. Not a big deal to drop it down a notch or two as mobs get increasingly difficult as you level. If enjoyment is the goal, consider why you choose to struggle? Cheers for this series. It's interesting to see the variety of playstyles different streamers/posters are pursuing. And if you don't get into Farming/Cooking right away, the Auction House usually has all levels of food and soups for sale on Angmar. If not, I'll post more snacks! (My Cook is maxxed).
Ha! It is straight up because I know I can get titles an unique rewards for the fearless 3. I suppose that doing the crafting a bit would be interesting for me as an almost comparison style of other mmos. Thanks!
4:03 - Pro tip: You can actually see if the cage contains a carcass. 😅 Having gone through that and the Starkath search, you are now a fellow Ered Luin survivor. Congratulations. xD Also, most(?) classes get their corruption removal skill at level 20. Wraiths and on-level mobs in landscape difficulty get corruption buffs. Wraiths below level 20 should no longer have corruption buffs, if you recorded this prior to that update.
Have you tried the PvP yet? It's VASTLY different from any other MMO. You play as a minion of Sauron and go rampaging against, well, what you'd be playing in regular mode.
Glad your Enjoying the game! Ya, Press X to Turn it off. If you ever need any guides on LOTRO I am a lotr and LOTRO channel I have a lot of Guides on the game! :D Great video! Cheers! BARUK KHAZAD! Also as a Red line Gaurd. Use your Curreption removal on the Wraith! It will help you be able to take it. Sure it will be SUPER hard still. but if your gear and weapon you have is on level. a Gaurd should be able to take them down. But Again, being on the Legendary server event and having land scape Dif on. I get it haha
I really want to play LOTRO, but for some reason my (state of the art) computer cant run it with higher than 20 fps on medium settings. Anyone have any insights on how to fix this?

Cargûl are regular landscape spawns tho based on the region you were running around in
I can't even bother with them right now lol If I'm on an escort quest I leave them completely, nope they chose their fate
'Loot all' is under options, saves you lots of clicking. I'm enjoying these vids.
Thanks for the tip! I'm really enjoying the series

I tried getting that forced opening skill but it wouldn't let me select it for some reason?
Cant wait to see more of this really enjoying it its making me reinstall haha
Honestly it is a comfy mmo, doesn't feel rushed doesn't feel pressure filled. Just feels fun!

Ya know I have heard this before but never knew how to resolve it. I'd imagine messing with the aspect ratio a bit and go from there?
Go yellow, thank me later
