The methods you bring with the Loomis method. I'm starting to understand how to draw heads and faces a little more better.

That's so good to hear. I'm glad the videos have been helping you. Do you like the Asaro method for drawing the facial features?

Thank you for your videos, they are very helpful! I struggle with drawing the first circle and am unsure where should it be placed...😐

My pleasure, hmm 🤔 when it comes to drawing the first circle try this…straighten your back, hold your pencil with the overhand grip, straighten your wrist and when you go to draw the circle don’t move your wrist. Instead move your elbow to draw the circle. This should give you a better circle. It should be placed in the center of the paper roughly 3/4 of the way up. Hope that helps you 😊

Thank you so much for the reply! I really appreciate it! While the answer definitely helped me, I was referring to drawing the circle on the reference photo. I do not understand how to place the circle on the reference face. what should be the centre of the circle, which facial features should be in and out of the circumference of the circle etc. Any guidance is highly appreciated! Thank you again!

Be sure to think of the forehead as receding both up and back underneath the hairline!
