Sonesta es suites Orlando, right across the road from icon park, is a really nice hotel. When my sister died in 2007, the hotel planted a palm tree 🌴 for her and got a plaque etc with her name made which is still there to this day. We visit the hotel/my sister’s tree every time we are over.
7AM is the start time for all the current lightning lane selections, all the morning stuff will usually be gone in the first 15 to 30 minutes so you need to be on it. Hopefully the new lightning lane multi pass system will make it a bit less stressful and perhaps even let you have a lay in on your holiday XD. Only downside is if your a resort guest but from the UK, you cant actually use the 7 day in advance for your whole trip benefit until you are in the US.

Just watching your vlog. On our very first time to Disney last May on our first day we was chosen as family of the day restaurantasaurous we got to sit in the little caravan had a picture taken and free shakes ❤
I am a sneaker collector and yes the sneaker store you went in was a resale store, you cannot go into a Nike store and buy any of those shoes, they will buy them from dead stock or other collectors will sell them to the store! Every pair of shoes will be a different price depending if they are rare or more common! $250usd is a normal price for any of those shoes but the Jordan 4’s would have been more for sure!

Love the vlogs.. we are doing a split stay of a week in a Disney resort and 12 days in a villa. Just wanted to share our deal for a Disney property stay as I know it’s often too expensive.. we’ve got 7 nights in port Orleans riverside including free quick service dining plan for 2 adults and 2 children at £289 a night.. I thought that was pretty good. Looking forward to getting resort perks and early access then getting away for a chill in the villa. Enjoying getting some inspiration too for our non Disney part of the stay!
Re the universal pass holder prices , even if you just visited once a year , the saving on parking alone over 14 days makes it worthwhile, plus discounts on food etc 👍🏻
I reckon a better rooftop bar would be at the top of the Aventura Hotel at Universal. We really like the look of it and the views look great - we'll be trying it out in a couple of weeks time 😊
Stayed at rosen plaza on I drive in may. Lovely hotel. Saltgrass was lovely but the portions were huge, longhorns was good too. Chili's on I drive was quite dirty safly

I stopped there a few years ago and it was really good. Fantastic location for getting around and enjoying everything Intl Drive has to offer - and that's a lot ! Have a great time 😊
Jordan 1s are absolutely amazing worth every penny, they vary in price due to there edition mostly Nike are sometimes cheaper but you’d struggle to get a rare ‘decent’ pair from Nike tho so will always be re sale site mostly for a the rare pairs
My Mrs is always trying to get me to go on the slingshot, if your both there next may, I’ll meet use there and her and Laura can go on it Loving these vlogs but makes me miss Orlando so much, also Aventura (universal hotel) has a roof top bar, great views and you can go even if your not staying there
Just a note on Disney annual passes... You can't upgrade the UK 14 day ticket anymore. Apparently we get too good a deal that their system no longer allows upgrades on those tickets.
@@TheKnightStrider We asked 5+ cast members in various locations and all said the same. I think it's the 14 day ticket specifically so other tickets may be ok to upgrade.
I’m my experience AK is much quieter a couple of hours before park close. You can get on everything much quicker and sometimes the parking booths are closed so you don’t need to pay to park and you can park at the front.
Yeah Andrew the Nike shoes are resale and new That’s why you’ll see some for $150 $300 $500 and sometimes even up to $1000 just depends on demand and rarity of them, I love them all so I would pay even know it’s so expensive for shoes lol
If you’ve got the time this trip / next trip and haven’t already tried the rooftop bar at Universal’s Aventura hotel, you should give it a go. We stayed there on our last trip and thought the bar was a really nice touch. Especially beautiful around sunset and at night. You could park for free at City walk with your UOAP and get the complimentary shuttle from there to Aventura.

Re the wait times , I honestly believe they deliberately keep them high , we joined the FOP queue when we last went in 2020 the wait time posted was 110 minutes , it only took 58 mins ( we timed it ) , so always worth joining IF you want to do the ride in my opinion 👍🏻
You can get lovely Samsonite luggage in places like Marshall’s and Burlingtons also TJ Maxx, I bought a suitcase last autumn to come back to the U.K. with as I’d bought so much in Orlando on my holiday 😂 but it was worth it as my new suitcase is beautiful and half the price of Samsonite in the U.K.
With regards to the nike jordans they are more expensive than buying from Nike as these shops are resellers . The resellers buy them direct from Nike and other places the day they are released by Nike. Some are extremely rare. Jordan 1 and 4 are the most desirable at the moment because they were originally released in the 80's and 90's and are being re-released so are becoming collectable

We have been to Ripleys believe it or not a couple of times. It is good to loose a couple of hours . Very similar to Wonderworks which is also good . A little overpriced if you aske me but worth a look.
Universal hotels with the free transport and early admission is way cheaper then any Villa, car and parking costs, u add the universal Anuual pass just for parking, a two week ticket withuniversal hotels is way cheaper, not even close in price compared

As somebody who loves Jordan’s the price point isn’t too bad ironically wouldn’t be buying them all time but maybe a splurge once lol

If you are after some bargains at the outlets head towards Tampa, there are a lot less tourists over there and the prices are so much better.
