It was worth the wait to hear him play at the end. Beautiful. Just gorgeous.

Bruce, you have demonstrated not only the capabilities of your Plek machine, but the capacity of your heart. You truly touched the heart & soul of this gentlemen. The appearance of the original frets clearly displayed this man's complete and utter dedication to playing this guitar. Vibrations go much further then our perceptions are capable of realizing. Both of you have made a difference in the universe. I hope this man will live to wear out your frets!

Thank you for this video! Now I know that I can trust having my acoustic Ovation custom Balladeer Plek'd, and that it's well worth the cost.

I was interested in getting this done . I live in Nova Scotia Canada. Called the largest music store in Halifax . They don't have this machine. They said there is a place in Toronto Ontario that has. Thus would make it very expensive to do. Guess I am out of luck. 🙁

You should look at Thomann, they have great prices on shipping and pleks and setups.

No point in watching this if you can't focus the camera.

I believe the shop owner performed (and video taped) this free of charge to the customer to show what a difference the process could make. A cheap commercial for the shop owner.

The luthier did mention that this man was a street performer and also appears to be a painter. The guitar he plays is likely a big part of his livelihood, I’d say that’s sentimental enough to be worth a free fret job and setup

Yeah, because the sequence of letters on the headstock is all that matters. :-|
