It was somewhere in early 90s, i might have been 11 or 12. There was that girl. Her name was Jola. She visited her granny every summer. She lived next block to me. I remeber when i stayed out late kicking ball - she was always around. We were outside all day, and there was plenty other kids, but we were always close, always together. We didn't have a mobile phones back then so the quickest way was to go out and look at top 4th floor of her block. She loved looking through her window and soon as she seen me, she was out. She was my first love and i was looking forward to every summer so i could see her again, hear her voice, enjoy her smile and company. Some time passed and she stopped coming over that often, we might have been 17 or 18 then, i guess she had her own life in her town, and visit to granny flat for whole summer wasnt a thing in her family anymore. I seen her few years later. She ...grew up, it was Jola, but it wasnt the same. Its such a pity we didnt grew up together. But i will always remember her from my happy childhood memories. You may be wondering why i'm writing it here? Well, cause Jola looked like Sandra!, same face, hair, even her voice was so magical. Now,its 2024. Im 42 years old, have two children and wife, but everytime i get to listen Sandra i get them memories back, and wonder what could have happen if Jola was living in my town... will never know now. I just listen to Sandra and think about Jola....

It was somewhere in early 90s, i might have been 11 or 12. There was that girl. Her name was Jola. She visited her granny every summer. She lived next block to me. I remeber when i stayed out late kicking ball - she was always around. We were outside all day, and there was plenty other kids, but we were always close, always together. We didn't have a mobile phones back then so the quickest way was to go out and look at top 4th floor of her block. She loved looking through her window and soon as she seen me, she was out. She was my first love and i was looking forward to every summer so i could see her again, hear her voice, enjoy her smile and company. Some time passed and she stopped coming over that often, we might have been 17 or 18 then, i guess she had her own life in her town, and visit to granny flat for whole summer wasnt a thing in her family anymore. I seen her few years later. She ...grew up, it was Jola, but it wasnt the same. Its such a pity we didnt grew up together. But i will always remember her from my happy childhood memories.
You may be wondering why i'm writing it here? Well, cause Jola looked like Sandra!, same face, hair, even her voice was so magical.
Now,its 2024. Im 42 years old, have two children and wife, but everytime i get to listen Sandra i get them memories back, and wonder what could have happen if Jola was living in my town... will never know now.
I just listen to Sandra and think about Jola....
