Holding her hands like that is not self soothing. I've seen monkeys do this in times of stress. I've seen several young monkeys returned to the forest do this. She may have been taught to 'keep her hands to herself' by tying or binding them to her body. I've also heard that people will bind the feet and hands when they physically discipline the monkey, by which I mean spank or whip. That would account for her obvious fear as well. In either case, this monkey is petrified that whatever happened to her will happen again. The kissing is fake. And I fear for what happened when this camera was turned off.

I have never seen her this scared. They must be abusing her more the older she gets. Her mouth is always red and cut like she gets hit on her mouth alot. She was super spoiled so I wonder if she began biting when she threw a tantrum cause stump tails get aggressive the older they get. So maybe she's getting hit.
