My genuine spark plugs that I got from the dealership say assembled in us with foreign content not all spark plugs say the same thing... That doesn't make them counterfeit although there are a lot of counterfeits out there you just got to be careful and do your research
The significant differences between fake spark plugs (in my case, this is DENSO SC20HR11 IRIDIUM) from the original are as follows. The central electrode did not have a laser-welded iridium washer/cylinder, and the side electrode had a stamped imitation of a "welded" resistance welding disk. These differences between the fake spark plugs and the genue spark plugs can only be seen using a binocular microscope.

it looks like you've never heard what a fake product. Denso has two factories - Japan and USA . if you watched the video, you would see what is written there made in the usa -- and what you said it is making in China BUT on American factories.
I just bought four Denso SK16HR11 plugs from Rock Auto. They look authentic to me. It says DENSO JAPAN FE on the sides with 8 plusses (++++++++). I also bought a Denso engine air filter. It says Made in China on the air filter box. Not sure how I feel about that. Denso makes Toyota cabin air filters in Thailand.
I bought a so called Toyota gas cap on aliexpress. On one side of the plastic package it says "Toyota made in Japan" and the other side it says "Made in China". It is only a gas cap so I don't really care. Spark plugs on the other hand I really do care and I am willing to pay a few bucks more to get the real ones.
My Denso Air filter was made in China as well and it's legit..trust me I was paranoid! But Denso actually has 3 warehouses 1 in Japan 1 in China and USA Toyota Brand Denso is all made in Thailand

simply say - they grinded around central electrod nickel spark plugs (up to 1mm Ø) and sold them as iridium .
