- My aspiration is to advocate for the promotion, protection, and preservation of the Yoruba language and culture. As part of this mission, we organised a debate competition among schools to discuss the significance of teaching in indigenous languages. The first prize was 200k, second prize was 150k, and the third prize was 100k. #yoruba #yorubaculture

Am happy with the sincerity of the judges because the winner are against the motion but they re better in delivery their points. But the truth is that it's better you are taught in your mother's tongue because all known scientist and great Scholars are taught in their mother tongue throughout the world 🌎 all develop country are teaching in thier mother tongue. If science is taught in our mother tongue we will be far better and understand more than we do today
This is a great initiative. I had my university education in Ile-Ife and had friends who were indigenes of Ondo state who finished from some of these schools.

Forget about govt, let's focus on how to make our Yoruba culture, traditions remain forever, don't let us succumb to Ilorin and oluwo of Iwo that are trying to end Yoruba language, culture, and tradition and trying to turn entire Yoruba to Arab culture of which most Saudi doesn't use OSUKA and do EHA for their women the OSUKA and EHA na Iraq, Iran, people that are using it not Saudi or UAE or Qatar culture.... Yoruba language and entire Yoruba culture should be preserve for future generations this is AIM OF THIS PROGRAM.

I disagree sir, the reason why Africa is not developing is because we use foreign languages more than our own. There is no where in any develop nations that uses other languages apart from. Theirs. Therefore, Yọruba should be 95% if we are ever serious to advance and develop
