Anyone remember the conversation Mykelti & Tony had with Kody & Christine when they wanted to get married in August and the parents wanted them to wait until December? Mykelti & Tony finally agreed to wait, but only if the family paid for their beach honeymoon. When interviewed after leaving the house, Mykelti said they had already decided to wait until December, but thought she’d see how much she could get out of the family for doing so. In my opinion, that speaks to their character & I don’t believe anything they say.
Yes both Mykelti and her husband are on a grift. I remember Mykelti saying her Dad wasn't sure he could afford another big wedding so close after Maddies and Tony's words were "well he can take out a second mortgage to pay for it, its easy"!!! WTF! That moment spoke volumes.

But then I recently saw a YT video that said Kody's dad took out a loan on his ranch to pay for Kody and Meri's wedding. If Tony and Mykelti knew that, Tony's comment makes sense. Robyn is not embarrassed to cry on camera. She thought crying on cue constantly would make the audience feel sorry for her and think of her as a meek humble victim. That behavior worked on Kody but it didn’t work on the female audience. There is nothing that Myakelti could say that would change our opinion of Kody and Robyn
What they mean is that she does "cry" on cue but there's never any tears, so Mykelti is sticking up for Robyn because so many people accuse Robyn of just acting and not really, truly crying, hence that's why there's no tears
Meri was extremely kind to Kody--She didn't cheat first as Mykelti said. Kody did when he asked for a divorce to marry Robyn. What a lame excuse--to adopt Robyn's children. THINK--all of his other children (with the exception of Mariah/Leon) are in a Spiritual situation. The others (including Mykelti) don't have a legal surname.(Because of the laws at that time, they were afraid to sign birth certificates. Good idea, Kody, adopt your other children).

Mykelti’s account was created after Paedon’s interview and I think this confirms that Kody contacted Christine’s kids to manipulate them so they do not say anything bad about him. Since Paedon is not doing what Kody wants him to do, he found in Mykelti a willing participant to clean his and Robyn’s reputation. That show needs to end.

If the covid rules were from TLC, then all the adults, and probably every family member appearing on the show, would have been given a copy of the rules and most likely been made to sign a document stating they have read, understand, and will abide by all the protocols and rules. A production company doesn't just fling out one piece of paper to one person and not notify anyone else of official health and safety rules that need to be followed.

I agree a lot of what she says does not add up. Meri got divorced so Robyn could become his legal wife and adopt her children. Neither Kody or Robyn gave her any support in making her still feel apart of the family. Which helped drive her out of the family. I’d love to see one of Janelle’s kids come forth with their truth.

That's an Olympic skill to have Robyn. It isn't even no tears as much as it is how infrequently her eyes are brimming with tears. If you are holding tears back, it requires your eyes to be brimming and about to spill over.
Mykelti is so unaware of her family's experience in Flagstaff. So is Paedon. Neither of them lived in Flagstaff or experienced the disintegration of Kody's relationships with everyone and the' family culture'. That is the bare minimum expectation.

Robyn became BFF’s with Mykelti because as a teenager she took her into her home( to spite Christine) when she and her Mom weren’t getting along, as mothers and teen daughters often do! Robyn got a baby sitter and to get at SW3. A win, win for her!

If TLC had made the Covid "rules", ALL of the women would have known what they actually had to do! Most of the time TLC wasn't even filming them with the crew, so it wouldn't have mattered about those rules anyway! They were filming themselves and surely could have gotten together outside with social distancing IF Kody & Robyn really wanted too! There's some psychological response going on with Makelti. In my opinion, Makelti is somehow trying to please everyone so much so that she's dismissing her mother and other siblings' reality. I can just predict, and I think based on what you just said, I was right . Makelti reminds me of my older sister, I came from a big family with an abusive father, and I can see the same behavior pattern of my sister in Makelti. 6:29 right. Kody admitted to Mariah while they were visiting their old house in Lehi, that he shouldered some of the blame because Meri was lonely AND alone after Mariah left. Yes, they had issues for years - but he was never lonely - she was. She was the person most hurt in their failed relationship. He had other wives and small children.
It's becoming more and more clear that Kody has "favorite" children in his large family. Kody's love is definitely conditional towards not only his wives, but his own children. Robyn's favorites are her own bio kids and she's proving her loyalty to Kody by siding with him on the other "favorite" child or children in the family that he chooses. Children crave the love and attention from parents - some more than others. Seems like Mykelti is doing whatever she can to keep in the good graces of Kody and Robyn by giving them glowing reviews. I suspect she has perhaps been a "favorite" from a young age.

This is absolutely PR for Kody. There were multiple people that stated Kody was trying to muzzle his kids because they were not flattering to Kody and Snobbin. I have lost all respect for Mykelti with some of her statements. Her inclusion of Snobbin with her children’s birth after the pain she caused to her mom was massively disrespectful. Now we find out that Mykelti is the only source of income for her household. Tony is a “stay at home” dad. She’s definitely looking for a TLC payday. She sold exclusive rights to the twins to People. They both mentioned that Tony wasn't welcomed positively into the family in the beginning. I get the feeling Robyn was more kind to Tony than others. Coupled with her having baby set for her. Mykeltie became team Robyn 🤷🏿♀️ she is more supportive of Robyn, so she excuses everything she does. The whole family seems to have communication problems and unresolved conflict. She mentioned how she chose to intentionally voice her opinions and baser her relationships on interactions rather than what happens on the show. She's so weird for dismissing her brothers feelings as well.
Mykelti and Tony got engaged quickly and wanted to marry quickly. The family needed more time for a wedding because Maddie already had a summer wedding date. They didn't want to short Maddie or Mykelti so Mykelti waited. I think she's pissed about it. I think Christine had doubts about Tony and his different culture and religion made her nervous. Mykelti fluffs Robyn and Kody because she wants a relationship with her dad. She might be doing it so that she can have scenes with her dad and get paid more. But I think that she mostly does it because she knows the way to her father's heart is to fluff him and his favorite wife. She has learned that the way to a narcissist's heart is never ending fluffing and unwavering support.

I think it's important to realize in toxic families that one of the only ways for a child to be successful is to believe the bs of the toxic parent. Not to pretend, but to truly believe the narrative. As she was growing up, even her own mom was teaching her that the narrative (Kodi is a great guy, even though he hurts us sometimes) was the truth. Believing the narrative equals safety and success in the family (after all, look at the ones who don't). For the ones who are successful, who believe the narrative, the one their caretakers are telling them is true, the one their own body tells them they have to believe in order to feel safe - for the 'successful' ones it often takes half a lifetime or more to see the truth clearly. These are the ones who make it into their 40s and 50s and then say 'yall crazy, I'm out'. Is she facilitating a lie. Absolutely. Is she doing it knowingly and maliciously. Doubtful. I don't think it has anything to do with her getting paid more, or even really choosing her dad and Robyn over other people. I mean, clearly Gwen has some of the same conditioning. She's going to need a little more time. But she'll get there.

I agree with you. I don’t trust miklyti or Gwen. I watched the interview Peadon did and he seems really genuine and truthful.. but I don’t feel the same about the two girls they are both so supportive of kody and not their mother or siblings… they are also the ones being paid for their information…. I think there is a lot of understanding for Kody from all three of these children and a lot of not understanding why people are upset about certain things. Because of TLC they’ve had opportunities like knowing that clearness is an option, and having the ability to embrace themselves or feeling like they could marry someone who is not white in Mykelti’s case. They’ve had opportunities, understand social right and wrong, which is why Paedon should be able accountable for his beliefs. However, that doesn’t mean that they have had opportunities understand how families typically would work. We can see that most of these adult children do not see an issue with how Cody speaks to his wives or his children. They don’t understand that it is Medical neglect not to take your kid to get spinal surgery. They don’t understand that when a child gets a surgery that does have the potential of permanent disability or death both parents take off and go and be with them. They don’t understand that typically both parents would care for the child afterwards. They don’t understand that typically both parents would take their child to college. They don’t understand that typically both parents would wish you a happy birthday. They don’t actually know what fathers typically do because they don’t have that exposure or experience. And then since the adult children who are now parents are all in monogamous relationships they don’t understand that the same standards should be held for interactions with your children whether you are monogamous or polygamous (or polyamorous which is not the same).They believe that having a lot of children would mean that you don’t have to be a present parent they likely haven’t met someone with a lot of children who only has one spouse because that is not typical. Even in Mormon households having 15 to 18 kids is not typical any longer. Then when we see the other reality TV shows who have families that have that many kids, like the Duggers, the parents are not present,they have the children parent and the adults are abusive. I mean the Duggars follow the Pearls who advocate for child abuse starting in infancy and we know what they allowed to keep happening with Josh. If the examples you see of large families are the Duggars and other cult polygamist families you can say “well we had it better than them” and justify a lot. Then you say “well Tony is so helpful bc he only has one wife and 3 kids.”
Yet Kody made sure he was there with Robyn and Dayton sitting uselessly in the waiting room for Dayton’s plastic surgery. And notice Kody never had a problem with forking over tons of the other women’s hard earned and saved money for a plastic surgery for one of Robyn’s kids.Nor did he have a problem leaving behind those little kids Samuel & Ari.I was told that was the cause of him filing bankruptcy. He KNEW he was making the wrong decision about not going to Isabel’s surgery, not supporting her financially nor putting her desperate needs above those 2 special Golden children Solomon & Ari. That is why he struggled so much & felt so guilty.He let his hatred of Christine win & broke his little girl’s heart.
If I was Mykelti, I might feel a little torn between my mother and my father and his wife, but honestly at the end of the day my loyalty would be with my mother, especially if Mykelti watched season 17 wouldn’t open mind and saw what her mother was going through and how her for the treated her mother but that’s just my opinion

I think you nailed it re Mykelti's motivation. Pretty sure the ones that let TLC film them giving birth, get paid. That would be Maddie & Mykelti. (Sidebar: TLC, I never need to see another Brown family member giving birth. I'm good.) I don't think either Tony or Mykelti have conventional, 9 to 5 type jobs. Just MLMs and side hustles. Also, because Mykelti was a bit of a black sheep growing up, she maybe feels special that she can put blinders on and be one of the only kids who doesn't see Kody & Robyn as selfish and neglectful. I've always cut Mykelti slack because she is just a little "off" and maybe not super bright. But it sounds like in that Paytreon interview, she threw her siblings and other moms under the bus. No bueno.
I think Mykelti feels compassion for Robyn because she was very supportive of her relationship with and engagement to Tony from the gate while her parents were visibly uncomfortable with the relationship. Christine even sang at her wedding and said it was kind of an apologetic gesture and a signal that she finally accepted them as a couple. Call me crazy but I believe Tony being from a completely different culture and ethnicity is a major reason her parents weren’t supportive in the beginning. That and his weight and long hair. When they announced that they wanted a taco truck to cater their wedding, you could feel their disapproval and their noses turning upward through the screen. How uncivilized! 🙄 I’m a Guatemalan immigrant married to a gringo and several of our kids chose to serve tacos at their weddings.

I think Kody and sobyn went to mykelti and asked her to defend them. She's the only one that sobyn will allow kody to have a relationship with. We saw Gabe ne Garrison try to talk to their dad. Outside. Feet away. Mykelti for some reason has more access maybe to keep her more in line. I worked for hospice. They tell us not to get attached but in most cases that's not an option. I recall one female, a wonder woman in many ways. One day I showed up to her house to find her family taking stuff and making a list of who gets what. I attended to my patient as I typically would and fought my tears. When I got in my vehicle I cried one of the most profound tears of my life. Some times holding back tears is essential. It requires a huge degree of control and the ability to pretend the situation is not real for how ever long it takes. Aside from that, I just found your page last night. I like your vibes and the way you tell the story and your opinions on it. I truly admire the way you present the content. Mykelti is autistic? If that's accurate then her view on things will likely be inconsistent with time. I have an autistic kid, her stories are like news, the title is fairly accurate but the story often changes or the view on it. That's based on my understanding and obviously holds no weight. My guess is all rumors will be addressed in the next season because what else is there? All but one wife is gone, the last show, final season addresses all rumors and the idea of a polygamous marriage has definitely provided viewers with a realistic look in to how it can go. If the purpose was to show us that it should be acceptable, this particular family showed us the opposite. Again I want to thank you for your time invested in these videos.

Christine’s kids are the ones on the show. If you notice Janelle’s kids aren’t in the show and neither are Robyn’s. Christine’s kids have been featured on the show a lot. The ones that have not been featured have not spoken out at all.

The great, big, obvious tell that TLC didn't give the Covid rules is not a single one of the show participants references it. Janelle and Christine didn't give a single inkling that the source of the rules was anywhere but Robin and Kody.
Mykelti was dropped on her head.There is something wrong with that girl. I figured out she was "off" when she was featured in an episode in Las Vegas about wanting to be a fashion designer. She didn't seem to be dressing herself, nor making her own clothes or designing clothes for anybody else in her family; she was drawing pictures, like paper dolls' clothes. And her drawings were "primitive," to put it kindly. That episode made me cringe. Then the whole business of "helping" with Christine's departure was AWFUL. She is completely unable to read a room, she must be on the ASD spectrum. I felt so sorry for Christine, you could see the pain on her face as Mykelti insisted on her returning to the master bedroom. And the goodbye party was horrendous. I won't watch anything Mykelti puts out.
Married women is okay with a husband sexually neglecting her and a mess of kids while still inserting elsewhere with plenty of energy for other kids and find Meri looking elsewhere betrayal? Hope Tony is nothing like Kody. Seems pretty okay guy. Quite impressed with his holding back with his father in law and willing to spend time with in laws. Being part of the seasons she may under contract to social media and interview positive. Kody wants TLC to sue some kids. They just like attention. Part of me wants to wash my hands of it all.
I stopped watching and even cancelled my cable tv back in season 16. I get enough watching all the commentaries. In reality I enjoyed the commentaries more than the show. I just don’t want to support this lying mess of a family financially anymore.
The problem with saying the rules were TLCs isn’t the notional turmoil, but it’s logical. The cameras filmed everyone, not just Kody and Robyn, so obviously it’s not TLC protecting their crew, as Mykelti wants us to believe.
Mykelti is full of crap. She and her husband are like grifters. Paerdon said of his John Yates interview that Mykelti admitted that she knows Robin is manipulating her but she doesn't care and I don't think Paerdon would lie about that.
Mykelti is speaking a truth that is all her own but has no connection to the reality of these people's lives. I have never really cared for her and this makes me care less so. Her love of Robyn has always been right out there and now she seems to be looking more favorably on her Dad as well. Not buying into her nonsense cause I think it's all tainted!!!!

Did Robyn manipulate Mykelti in advocating for her? We see how manipulative Robyn can be. Kody emotionally abandoned Meri years before the catfish. Kody seems immature, and perhaps after years of being in a relationship, gets bored and is ready to move on. Polygamy was probably introduced into their religion for that very reason.

Mykelti & Tony finally agreed to wait, but only if the family paid for their beach honeymoon. When interviewed after leaving the house, Mykelti said they had already decided to wait until December, but thought she’d see how much she could get out of the family for doing so. In my opinion, that speaks to their character & I don’t believe anything they say.

If the covid rules were from TLC, then all the adults, and probably every family member appearing on the show, would have been given a copy of the rules and most likely been made to sign a document stating they have read, understand, and will abide by all the protocols and rules. A production company doesn't just fling out one piece of paper to one person and not notify anyone else of official health and safety rules that need to be followed.
And if they didn’t comply not only would they not be filmed but they’d be fined because they’d be in breach of contract.

@Meggie 42 they actually ended up running out of tacos. In one of the group interviews kody and Christine said Tony's count was spot on. They were the little street tacos, and I believe that was all the food at the wedding besides cake.

6:29 right. Kody admitted to Mariah while they were visiting their old house in Lehi, that he shouldered some of the blame because Meri was lonely AND alone after Mariah left. Yes, they had issues for years - but he was never lonely - she was. She was the person most hurt in their failed relationship. He had other wives and small children.
It's becoming more and more clear that Kody has "favorite" children in his large family. Kody's love is definitely conditional towards not only his wives, but his own children. Robyn's favorites are her own bio kids and she's proving her loyalty to Kody by siding with him on the other "favorite" child or children in the family that he chooses. Children crave the love and attention from parents - some more than others. Seems like Mykelti is doing whatever she can to keep in the good graces of Kody and Robyn by giving them glowing reviews. I suspect she has perhaps been a "favorite" from a young age.

They both mentioned that Tony wasn't welcomed positively into the family in the beginning. I get the feeling Robyn was more kind to Tony than others. Coupled with her having baby set for her. Mykeltie became team Robyn 🤷🏿♀️ she is more supportive of Robyn, so she excuses everything she does. The whole family seems to have communication problems and unresolved conflict.
She mentioned how she chose to intentionally voice her opinions and baser her relationships on interactions rather than what happens on the show. She's so weird for dismissing her brothers feelings as well.
Mykelti and Tony got engaged quickly and wanted to marry quickly. The family needed more time for a wedding because Maddie already had a summer wedding date. They didn't want to short Maddie or Mykelti so Mykelti waited. I think she's pissed about it. I think Christine had doubts about Tony and his different culture and religion made her nervous. It just took a bit longer. She loves Tony

Mykelti fluffs Robyn and Kody because she wants a relationship with her dad. She might be doing it so that she can have scenes with her dad and get paid more. But I think that she mostly does it because she knows the way to her father's heart is to fluff him and his favorite wife. I think the show is a big part of Mykelti’s income. She has 3 kids to support. So this may be pr. I also think there are separate and unique experiences in the family relationships just like in most families.
She may have stars in her eyes thinking she could eventually get her own reality TV show, who knows! 🤩 Remember that freaky, “Octa-mom” woman whose decision were based in just that.

Yes Gwen said she used to have a better relationship with Kody if distant but that changed when she started watching their own show and seeing how her dad actually treated her mom when no one was around.
I agree with you completely! Also good for you for not subscribing to anything these people put out! Everything the adults are doing is only to make money and now the kids are following suit! No morals, honesty, integrity, etc.!

I think it's important to realize in toxic families that one of the only ways for a child to be successful is to believe the bs of the toxic parent. Not to pretend, but to truly believe the narrative. As she was growing up, even her own mom was teaching her that the narrative (Kodi is a great guy, even though he hurts us sometimes) was the truth. Believing the narrative equals safety and success in the family (after all, look at the ones who don't). For the ones who are successful, who believe the narrative, the one their caretakers are telling them is true, the one their own body tells them they have to believe in order to feel safe - for the 'successful' ones it often takes half a lifetime or more to see the truth clearly. These are the ones who make it into their 40s and 50s and then say 'yall crazy, I'm out'.
Is she facilitating a lie. Absolutely. Is she doing it knowingly and maliciously. Doubtful.
I don't think it has anything to do with her getting paid more, or even really choosing her dad and Robyn over other people. I mean, clearly Gwen has some of the same conditioning.
She's going to need a little more time. But she'll get there.

I agree with your analysis of Mykelti's commentary! She is totally confusing to me! Her insistence on that awkward, forced "goodbye" when her mom was moving to Utah completely floored me- is she clueless?! I do question her ulterior motives- and her perspectives are unique, for sure. Is she trying to calm the waters and prepare for bridge building between her siblings and her dad? It will be interesting to see what develops from here!
I agree with you. I don’t trust miklyti or Gwen. I watched the interview Peadon did and he seems really genuine and truthful.. but I don’t feel the same about the two girls they are both so supportive of kody and not their mother or siblings… they are also the ones being paid for their information…. I don’t believe them .
I think there is a lot of understanding for Kody from all three of these children and a lot of not understanding why people are upset about certain things. Because of TLC they’ve had opportunities like knowing that clearness is an option, and having the ability to embrace themselves or feeling like they could marry someone who is not white in Mykelti’s case. They’ve had opportunities, understand social right and wrong, which is why Paedon should be able accountable for his beliefs.
However, that doesn’t mean that they have had opportunities understand how families typically would work. We can see that most of these adult children do not see an issue with how Cody speaks to his wives or his children. They don’t understand that it is Medical neglect not to take your kid to get spinal surgery. They don’t understand that when a child gets a surgery that does have the potential of permanent disability or death both parents take off and go and be with them. They don’t understand that typically both parents would care for the child afterwards. They don’t understand that typically both parents would take their child to college. They don’t understand that typically both parents would wish you a happy birthday. They don’t actually know what fathers typically do because they don’t have that exposure or experience. And then since the adult children who are now parents are all in monogamous relationships they don’t understand that the same standards should be held for interactions with your children whether you are monogamous or polygamous (or polyamorous which is not the same).They believe that having a lot of children would mean that you don’t have to be a present parent they likely haven’t met someone with a lot of children who only has one spouse because that is not typical. Even in Mormon households having 15 to 18 kids is not typical any longer. Then when we see the other reality TV shows who have families that have that many kids, like the Duggers, the parents are not present,they have the children parent and the adults are abusive. I mean the Duggars follow the Pearls who advocate for child abuse starting in infancy and we know what they allowed to keep happening with Josh. If the examples you see of large families are the Duggars and other cult polygamist families you can say “well we had it better than them” and justify a lot. Then you say “well Tony is so helpful bc he only has one wife and 3 kids.”
Yet Kody made sure he was there with Robyn and Dayton sitting uselessly in the waiting room for Dayton’s plastic surgery. And notice Kody never had a problem with forking over tons of the other women’s hard earned and saved money for a plastic surgery for one of Robyn’s kids.Nor did he have a problem leaving behind those little kids Samuel & Ari.I was told that was the cause of him filing bankruptcy. He KNEW he was making the wrong decision about not going to Isabel’s surgery, not supporting her financially nor putting her desperate needs above those 2 special Golden children Solomon & Ari. That is why he struggled so much & felt so guilty.He let his hatred of Christine win & broke his little girl’s heart.
If I was Mykelti, I might feel a little torn between my mother and my father and his wife, but honestly at the end of the day my loyalty would be with my mother, especially if Mykelti watched season 17 wouldn’t open mind and saw what her mother was going through and how her for the treated her mother but that’s just my opinion
Mykelti seemed so unmoved by how her Mom was so uncomfortable with the last goodbye. That was glaring.

I think you nailed it re Mykelti's motivation. Pretty sure the ones that let TLC film them giving birth, get paid. That would be Maddie & Mykelti. (Sidebar: TLC, I never need to see another Brown family member giving birth. I'm good.) I don't think either Tony or Mykelti have conventional, 9 to 5 type jobs. Just MLMs and side hustles.
Also, because Mykelti was a bit of a black sheep growing up, she maybe feels special that she can put blinders on and be one of the only kids who doesn't see Kody & Robyn as selfish and neglectful. I've always cut Mykelti slack because she is just a little "off" and maybe not super bright. But it sounds like in that Paytreon interview, she threw her siblings and other moms under the bus. No bueno.
I think Mykelti feels compassion for Robyn because she was very supportive of her relationship with and engagement to Tony from the gate while her parents were visibly uncomfortable with the relationship. Christine even sang at her wedding and said it was kind of an apologetic gesture and a signal that she finally accepted them as a couple. Call me crazy but I believe Tony being from a completely different culture and ethnicity is a major reason her parents weren’t supportive in the beginning. That and his weight and long hair. When they announced that they wanted a taco truck to cater their wedding, you could feel their disapproval and their noses turning upward through the screen. How uncivilized! 🙄 I’m a Guatemalan immigrant married to a gringo and several of our kids chose to serve tacos at their weddings.

I think Kody and sobyn went to mykelti and asked her to defend them. She's the only one that sobyn will allow kody to have a relationship with. From what I saw mykelti was there to defend kody and snobyn. Toni has always scared me bc he looks like a serial killer nut that's just me.
I find mykelti, Gwendolyn and peadon to be exactly like their dad. Gwen has always annoyed me. Mykelti was doing damage control. We saw Gabe ne Garrison try to talk to their dad. Outside. Feet away. Mykelti for some reason has more access maybe to keep her more in line. She must know things off at Robyn helping to babysit before the marriage took place. Some of them remind me of hostages. Thank goodness I am gone or protecting the offender.
I worked for hospice. They tell us not to get attached but in most cases that's not an option. I recall one female, a wonder woman in many ways. One day I showed up to her house to find her family taking stuff and making a list of who gets what. I attended to my patient as I typically would and fought my tears. When I got in my vehicle I cried one of the most profound tears of my life.
Some times holding back tears is essential. It requires a huge degree of control and the ability to pretend the situation is not real for how ever long it takes.
Aside from that, I just found your page last night. I like your vibes and the way you tell the story and your opinions on it. I truly admire the way you present the content.
Mykelti is autistic? If that's accurate then her view on things will likely be inconsistent with time. I have an autistic kid, her stories are like news, the title is fairly accurate but the story often changes or the view on it. That's based on my understanding and obviously holds no weight.
My guess is all rumors will be addressed in the next season because what else is there? All but one wife is gone, the last show, final season addresses all rumors and the idea of a polygamous marriage has definitely provided viewers with a realistic look in to how it can go. If the purpose was to show us that it should be acceptable, this particular family showed us the opposite.

Christine’s kids are the ones on the show. If you notice Janelle’s kids aren’t in the show and neither are Robyn’s. Christine’s kids have been featured on the show a lot. The ones that have not been featured have not spoken out at all.

The great, big, obvious tell that TLC didn't give the Covid rules is not a single one of the show participants references it. Janelle and Christine didn't give a single inkling that the source of the rules was anywhere but Robin and Kody.
Mykelti was dropped on her head.There is something wrong with that girl.
I figured out she was "off" when she was featured in an episode in Las Vegas about wanting to be a fashion designer. She didn't seem to be dressing herself, nor making her own clothes or designing clothes for anybody else in her family; she was drawing pictures, like paper dolls' clothes. And her drawings were "primitive," to put it kindly. That episode made me cringe.
Then the whole business of "helping" with Christine's departure was AWFUL. She is completely unable to read a room, she must be on the ASD spectrum. I felt so sorry for Christine, you could see the pain on her face as Mykelti insisted on her returning to the master bedroom. And the goodbye party was horrendous. I won't watch anything Mykelti puts out.

Married women is okay with a husband sexually neglecting her and a mess of kids while still inserting elsewhere with plenty of energy for other kids and find Meri looking elsewhere betrayal? Hope Tony is nothing like Kody. Seems pretty okay guy. Quite impressed with his holding back with his father in law and willing to spend time with in laws. Being part of the seasons she may under contract to social media and interview positive. Kody wants TLC to sue some kids. They just like attention. Part of me wants to wash my hands of it all.
I stopped watching and even cancelled my cable tv back in season 16. I get enough watching all the commentaries. In reality I enjoyed the commentaries more than the show. I just don’t want to support this lying mess of a family financially anymore.
The problem with saying the rules were TLCs isn’t the notional turmoil, but it’s logical. The cameras filmed everyone, not just Kody and Robyn, so obviously it’s not TLC protecting their crew, as Mykelti wants us to believe.

Mykelti is speaking a truth that is all her own but has no connection to the reality of these people's lives. I have never really cared for her and this makes me care less so. Holding back your tears until you're in a safe space is a trauma response. It's not a superpower it's a survival tactic.
Did Robyn manipulate Mykelti in advocating for her? We see how manipulative Robyn can be. Kody emotionally abandoned Meri years before the catfish. Kody seems immature, and perhaps after years of being in a relationship, gets bored and is ready to move on. Polygamy was probably introduced into their religion for that very reason.
