Many family members expected me to abort my child but I chose to give him life. When I was 6 months pregnant. My son’s father passed away. So I was having him alone. My family played this song at my baby shower. They made a beautiful bird cage and each member marched up and gave me written messages/wishes on butterfly shaped pieces of paper that i put in the cage. I still have some of my butterfly wishes 10 years later. I cry whenever I hear this song!!!! ❤

I’ve always protected him and indeed the struggle was real and he is now 25 and it still is. But I wouldn’t change it.
