- Hey guys, here's a quick demo and playthrough of the new Archetype Nolly plugin by Neural DSP. All of the guitar tones come from the Archetype Nolly plugin, with the exception of the layered guitar with a Dunlop ZW wah before the plugin.

Hi what are your top 3 favorite amp sims? what interface/monitors do you use?
Cheers mate! What audio interface are you using? I just bought the same plugin and to me, you might have the same issue that I had. To me, all the distorted sounds sounded a bit muddy. I have Presonus USB 96 audio interface, and it is definitely loading the guitar pickups (tried several) the wrong way. Had to build a FET preamp for the audio interface to make it sound better.
Do another cover where you sing! I really liked the Ghost one you did.
Dude, awesome demo! Speaking of COC though, think this plugin would suite that style? (Down, coc, clutch, etc) or would one of the other neural plugs be better?

Great review! I'm thinking that amp sims are nearing perfection. Why spend huge money for bulky tube amps with limited sound-scapes when you can harness the ever-increasing power of CPU, amp-sims and IRs for a fraction of the cost?
If I buy this can I use my MIDI pedal to change patches or is it not possible?
So far, you can only scroll through the patches. But yes i hope they actually can assign buttons for each patches
@@drewgunner14 It's literally the only thing that stopped me buying any Archetype plugins. If they could just allow us to have some live switching features (even just the ability to switch clean to dirty channels) I will buy the whole collection because in terms of sound, they are the best sounding and most convincing sounding amp sims I have ever used.

Stainless Steel no, no post processing at all on the guitars.
