I have the motoes side racks to. They’re sweet. I was able to make them work with the oem rear rack. With some 5/8”x1” aluminum spacers and some longer m8 bolts. Loving the channel Brother. Keep the Tenere content coming!
Not sure if this is in the instructions or not but I would loosen up the bolts that hold that top plate in place before installing the rack. That should give the bike attachment points more flex and allow them to line up better. After you have the rack tightened to the bike go back and tighten up the top plate bolts.
I had a little better luck with mine. I mounted the exhaust side first and left the bolts loose, then did the chain side. Bolts were tight to get in. I also had to file down some weld splatter in one of the holes.
Can't complain on MoTones' pricing. It is nice that they give you extra grab points. I've been using the Giant Loop strap for picking up bikes but it doesn't help much for rolling the bike around the shop. I got the Camel ADV Minimalist Rear Rack and Side Racks, haven't installed them yet. I'm only planning to go soft luggage on the T7 and if I decide to use a locking top box then I'll have to do something different. The Touratech Top Box and Giant Loop Great Basin was a sweet combo on the 890.
@@AdventureTomek I get watching the $’s. I decided to sell a couple of bikes and put that money into the T7. I’ll probably regret selling a bike or two, out of the four I’m in the process of selling.
I was able to mount my Huzar high exhaust to the Motoes side rack instead of the tail of the bike. It eliminated any interference with the tusk tail rack that I'm running.
I have the exact same Motoes side and top rack and also Rhinowalk bags but not installed yet…..hopefully the installation will go easier than yours…but I wish I had got a rack that is level with the seat….

My experience has been very positive. No problem with the installation and they work well with the Tusk Highland X2 bags I have.
Good to hear! The company has a great selection of products. Someone must of had an off day while welding the one I received.
Literally just got mine and installing them later today! Hopefully my top rack fits neatly.
Thanks for sharing! I'm from Turkiye too, also got my racks from Motoes, pretty good for its weights, those guys sell pretty much stuff for off-road
Thanks for watching! 🍻

Overall I’m happy with the setup.
Great👍 Rhinowalk bags are L or XL. Thanks

I do like the Camel ADV setup.
Penny pinching a few things on the bike.

Mine bearly fit. I had to re-drill the wholes to make them bigger to be able to align them with the bike frame.

Best of luck! Thanks for ch checking out the vid 🍻
Hey what happened to the seat concepts? I have the tall rally and absolutely love it !
I have the Rally 2.0 standard size, do not find it much more comfortable than the OEM.
Currently trying to sell it and try something else.
Sorry it didnt goes as smooth as you wanted. But you were able to overcome. I was waiting to see you slip and fall in that puddle at the end.
Sometimes you have to work with the products on a budget…. compared to other options it’s a great deal for this setup
too heavy, congrts for the channel, following
Yes, might look into other options in the future. Thank you!
@@AdventureTomek I liked the rackless version of the other video better. There's a lot of added weight here, how's the feeling, is it worth it?
@@AdventureTomek any chance you still have the “extra” side luggage brackets and want to offload them?
