"For the Dolphin dynasty did not die in Oakland".........yes, it did, unfortunately. My 8-year old self cried after that game and has been waiting for a Super Bowl victory for 50 years now. Go Phins!!
34:35 Monday Night Football in December in Miami, this was the first NFL game I ever saw in person and I had never before seen any highlights of the game.
Great combination of film footage...great that you included the MNF game, as those highlights are not included in the week by week "This is the NFL" (etc,.) highlight programs.
LMAO! Almost won three straight Super Bowls? They played in three straight Super Bowls but Dallas BLEW OUT Miami in Super Bowl VI by 3 touchdowns, the Dolphins didn't almost win that game! 24-3 was no nail biter !
Nat Moore was not only best rookie on Phins in 74 - but played like team MVP. Warfield was lame suck in 74 and had injuries...Early in career moore returned kicks, ran reverses and was a true YAC receiver. Fred Soloman was drafted in 75 and was almost as exciting at WR and KR. They could have been best WR tandem in league - but Shula traded soloman in delvin Williams trade.after 77. Never was as impressed with soloman replacement duriel Harris. Warfield, Moore and Harris could have scorched the NFL for a few seasons.....if not for WFL,,,,
I love the comical "could haves" and "what ifs", Moore and Solomon would NEVER have been allowed to become an even good WR tandem, Shula's blind lust for the running game kills that "theory"! I'm no Steelers fan but Gnat Moore and Solomon couldn't have carried Swann and Stallworth's collective jocks!
@@davidcobb2693 Moore , games 183 - 510 rec ,- 74 TD, Stallworth, 165 games ,- 537 rec 63 TD- Solomon , 151 games - 371 rec - 48 TD , Swann 116 games - 336 rec - 51 TD Swann and Stallworth have nothing on those guys but a championship team , Moore played in more games , and caught more TD passes , Solomon played in more games and caught more balls , Super Bowl wins put them in HOF .

0:40 - concussion
Yeah that was a nasty play. He would be concussion protocol in today's game...
You know your football
