I know the remnants of Helene certainly hung around for a good while. Few of my friends from online live down in the Tampa area. They evacuated early and went to stay with family elsewhere. Still waiting to hear back from them.

There’s shelters that open to the public. They’re usually in schools which is probably the safest place you can be to ride out the storm!
