I was disappointed when i found this out tbf. I enjoyed manually digging it gave me the proper survival feeling. I could say well let's just stick to digging but known this is at my fingertips makes me sad lol
@@CMoDZ3Dlol same thing happened to me but honestly im playing the game how it was intended to even if i know i can do that , doing this just kills the fun for me
I love watching Enshrouded gain popularity and watching the content come out. The best part thus far - is people showing the map location zoomed in. As if the map wasn't a 1:1 scale of our entire universe. Need coords or some shit. Takes me 30mins just to find the damn spot haha. Thanks though, good video!
Impressive! Very efficient building technique. I plan on doing something similar, but multi-story. One thing i always missed in Valheim was, the inability to build underground or tunnel into cliffsides. Guess this game is the hole diggers dream come true!
Just discovered video today, and I must say that I absolutely love it!!! You have given me some ideas to try out next. Of course, I seem to be one of those people who think my builds are crap, but maybe I am just too hard on myself.
Well, this game doesn't have NPC raids right now, unfortunately, so I just used a nice looking tavern as my own base. I'm not a fan of these sort of games where your base are always a safe place.
I could have sworn I saw a video of someone using the terrain setting in build mode and removing sections like that but without having to lay down a build piece first. Looked like he was just literally right clicking or something. Can anyone confirm this or know how he was doing it so fast
I used to do it with the terrain settings and you just have to right click in the area to remove it but its not a "perfect square" that you remove, so the method this guy uses in the video is more efficient and clean, i would definetly recommend using it.
When placing a block inside the terrain the block material overwrites (erases) the terrain inside it - so when you then delete the placed block there is empty space left behind :)
You mean to tell me that I hand carved out an entire mountain side and didnt know you could do this with foundation? well played sir well played

Diggy diggy dwarf !
The downside of that technique: You don't get any resources from the excavation.

At least you won’t run out of stone any time soon lol

The building itself is very impressive. The interior though needs a lot more love in my opinion.
Beside that nice build!

I'm enjoying this game so much with a friend. Both we are above 40 yo but we feel like little kids there.
Love your build. Thank for the tip.
I feel like i totally screwed myself not knowing i could do this instead of mining out a whole mountain. big F
This is so smart! Gonna use this on my server
the hidden door bookshelves and the recessed fire place area were my fave
fascinatingly beautiful 👍👍👍 ... 👏👏👏
This is awesome
Wow, very cool and creative... :)
Very lovely!

Great vision sir

If you do the terrain slab with dirt it’s pretty square and gives you resources as you remove land
Would you mind sharing your map save for this build? Its amazing!
I don't know how to do it
and thanks 😇
I need to steal your idea
Building looks fantastic in this game. RUclipsr Radioman did a mountainside build as well, check his out too for some inspiration as well. GJ sm ^^
Verry Noice Thx ❤
Top💪🏻
love it ...
Holy crap
how to make infinity resources ?
WeMod
Hi, how did you create a hidden book shelf?
as a reward for doing the missions
Doesn't it reset it and you lose it all like placing it near a chest location after you log out and come back.
It's protected by the flame
how did you get so many building materials?
3rd party program for build
@@smskcntr euphemism for mods/cheats
Are you able to share that mod for resources I cant find it anywhere :(. I am a person that just wants to build stuff

is enshrouded similar to valheim?
yes, more comprehensive
bad ass
Man I'm too much claustrophobic to watch this 🙈
sadly the fucking mouse wheel bug wont let me select 4m buildings
So you actually don’t need to dig with a pickaxe to build anything ? Don’t really understand how he’s digging like this
Place block, remove block.
I cant believe you are serious rn
@@dougwall675 So you won’t believe i dug an entire trench around my base with a pickaxe 😎

Why build a base in this game? It never gets attacked?!?
For now, it's in early access. It will change with updates.
Because it looks cool? Have you ever thought about being creative?
