Yes in the 1600s Ireland was under British rule, they moved alot of Scots to the north of Ireland to breed the Irish out of the Irish.He sent thousands to the Islands as slaves ,mainly women and children at that time, to stop them breeding...years and years later they were again brought to the Islands as indentured servants. Supposedly free after an agreed time but tbh never really gained freedom as worked to the bone, time added on to service for smallest of infractions,if pregnant obvisiosly by their master or from forced relations with African slaves, the child did not have to work till 3, but if reached end of service and tried to leave, they were than told oh but your child has had bed and board here for X years you now ow that,so back to the grind again...Irish were cheaper to buy than the Africans ,skin not used to heat ,so slowed them down when burnt, there was no penalty for killing The Irish .. Mad when you think what people did to people ..all for money and power.
