In 2013 a 15-year-old girl was sentenced to 100 lashes by a Maldives court for engaging in premarital sex. She was raped by her stepfather. Also, the inhabitants of the Maldives are prohibited from working in resorts because of moral issues with western habits, serving alcohol etc. Hence guest workers from Sri Lanka are used. Touristing in muslim countries is in my opinion an acceptance of that moral. These countries should be boycotted by all possible means including tourism.
