I like this period, it is interesting in most of serials. I am keen of changes in the goals and feelings of people in the face of war. I've watched it up to 22 ep/ At first I was not much impressed, but now I should say I ve got involed. The beginning is somewht look like the first ep of "Battle for Changsha"
It is just the beginning of the sever war with the fascists. Civilians also were starving to deaf. It is rather normal, that most of characters are going to die in such circumstances. . It would be more strange if almost everybody survived.
